I recently purchased the Kanger EVOD starter kit and I have been using it a little over a month and it's been good so far but I have now run into some problems. My EVOD BCC keeps clogging within about 2 to 3 days and I cannot figure out why. Here are my first few guesses.. I am using Zeus E juice 40PG/60VG liquids, they are not too thick at all. A lot runnier than regular maple syrup.. Could it be the PG VS VG ratio I am using? Also, I smoke about a 1.2 ml almost all the way down to about less than half an inch at times.. another reason? I change out and maintenance my atomizers often and at times when I take off the atomizer tip to check on the inside of the atomizer the wicks are completely brown and way too soaked. I don't know if I am doing anything wrong or right at this point because now I am replacing these EVOD tanks at a very rapid pace. Can anyone please help me with these problems.. One more thing.. I am using mount baker Vapor and Zeus E juice juice.. Does anyone know of any other Kanger EVOD friendly clearomizer juice?

Welcome , but as already stated , take out the little atty head , remove the tube and flavor wicks ( just laying on top ) and soak them in cheap vodka for several hours . Then rinse under hot waster , blow out excess juice , and do a dry burnon the coil . Plenty of video's on Youtube . Re-install , some new flavor wicks , and the tube and re-install back into the base . And yes your juice is a bit high in VG . I tried to use a 50/50 ratio , and still kinda didn't wick very well . A lot of improvement after removing one of the flavor wicks . If you don't want to bother with the cleaning option , you can always just buy some replacement atty heads . They are pretty cheap . Good Luck

If you're using dark, sweet, gooey juices, your coils will gunk up in no time; you may have to grab a fresh coil every day or every other day. The good news is that those coils are inexpensive and they clean up well. Soak them in PGA (if you can get it) or vodka or even 91% Isopropyl alcohol. Rinse and repeat if necessary. Once in while, you'll have to dry burn the coils, as soaking in alcohol will not dissolve the gunk build-up on the coil. There are many good videos on Youtube showing how to dry burn an eVod coil.

Good luck.

Every juice change I just unscrew the bottom of eVod and set them on a paper towel. Then run hot water into the tanks, let them set with hot water in them. Then dab the coils with a napkin and unscrew the actual coil and drop into a vinegar soak for 24 hours. Then check tanks and see if they are totally clean around the clear top. Dry them off and insert dry coils(from a previous vinegar soak) into bases and start filling tanks with juice. I have 8 eVods and about 50 coils and have been doing this for 3 months with no troubles.

Yes, clean the head including the wicks, that is more important than the tank itself. Run hot water over them, soaking in cheapo vodka overnight helps too.

After you clean the heads (or replace with a new head) do you need to prime the wicks with a drop of liquid on each side? I've only watched a few videos with cleaning and dry burning, and on one of them she primes the wicks. Just curious if this is necessary.

So you let the actual tanks in hot water for 24 hrs right? Then screw back kn the atty heads? I did let the heads and the wicks sit in vodka for a few hours yesterday and I am using a previous "clogged tank" and it is vaping amazing as if it was never clogged before! Thank you guys so much for all your help?

No, Just till the clear mouthpiece shows no sign of old juice. Usually about 5 minutes.

No, I just rinse the tank under warm water and dry. Only the atomizer coil (pin) needs a soak in alcohol and a dry burn if it's very dirty.

No, you don't. It won't hurt, but it's not necessary. Just take a few primer puffs (without activating your battery) to get any air bubbles out of the tank and to force juice flow onto the coil. I take primer puff once in a while--they help to keep the coil wet.
