Kanger EVOD question

For years, I have used GLV mods and am happy. But I recently bought a couple of EVODs. I charged both of them and cannot get them to work. I am trying with my 510 Boge in a tank.

Can you only use EVOD tanks with the EVOD?

Might be a dumb question but did you try clicking the button five times fast, to turn them on? They should work fine with any 510- or eGo-threaded tank, as long as the ohms aren't below 1.5 or so...

Do they light up but not fire the coil or do they not light up at all?

And if the battery button lights up, try using a toothpick around the edges of the center pin on the battery to gently lift it.

Do NOT use anything conductive(needle/pin/mini screwdriver/per clip/etc) UNLESS YOU ARE SURE that the battery is turned off. Don't ask why I know that

Maybe something wrong with your tank , try another one. Nothing wrong with evods.

I would move the pin on the tank not the battery in this case.

A few things to try.

Raise the center pin on the battery.

Lower the pin on the bottom of the coil.

Is the resistance of the coil to low to fire it.

Try a different one. Production tolerances on the are not great and can have a few mm difference in heights.
