Started vaping about five months ago. Initially, purchased four Evods, which have been working great for
flavor switching. Easy to use, look great on a color matched Vision Spinner. Dependable.

Recently, added two Aro's to handle tank cracking e-liquids.

Man! I was blown away by the dramatic difference in draw, coupled with great clouds of vapor from these
clearos. I've read that some people don't like an airy draw, but, the Aro's draw just seems right on point,
and not nearly as hard as the Evod's (which is still pretty nice compared to an atty)

Taking a puff off of a good coffee or cinammon liquid delivers a superb throat hit. (12%)

The Aro also holds about 2.5 ml, about 1ml more than the Evod (and it has a glass tank).

They are slightly wider in diameter than an Evod, and do not look quite as sleek on an Ego twist type battery.

The stainless steel model looks very cool on a VV mod. I have an SVD.

They do cost a couple of dollars more than an Evod here in the states. You can get Evod clones for about
$2.20 each if you buy a 10pk. from fastech. These have gotten generally favorably reviews on their site.

I love the Evods, and plan to keep them in rotation, but, I will be ordering a couple more of the ARO's.

To date, I have bought both the Evods, Aro's, and Vision Spinners from Discount Vapers. After exploring dozens
of supplier sites, I've found that they consistently deliver the lowest prices and high quality products and service.

Smoktech ARO, Nova, Tumbler, RBC

I am not affiliated in any way with DV, just satisfied with them to date.

Hope this helps other newbies. Thanks for reading.... Ed

I would concur about the ARO clearos. Started with an MT3, but put a tank cracker liquid in it before I knew any better. I got the ARO because it was the cheapest glass clearo I could find (from DV as well). Love these things. The coils consistently have 3 flavor wicks as oppose to the 1 or 2 inconsistent Kanger coils. Seems to me that is has a slightly tighter draw and man they kick out some vapor. The wife uses evod tanks and the smoktech aro coils work in the Kanger evod. Only have to buy one coil type, because if this. Really happy with the ARO.

I am also a huge fan of the Aro. If anyone is interested in it, take a look at this:

bought the ARO also, will never go back to the ce5's or mini novas. coils wind nice, only had one bad coil that i wound that leaked., still got a bad coil from the manufacturer that burn the rubber grommet tho, not unlike CE5's, the reviews I read by some people- some were really rotten on the aro, but I have a good experience with them

I recently purchased 2 pyrex aros and I love the draw on them, not a dry hit yet. The main reason was they use the same coil as my 8 tumbler tanks and I didn't want umpteen different brands of coil heads to keep track of. I do prefer the draw on the tumblers a tad more but most guys probably think they're girly looking compared to the aros.

I've run the tumblers totally empty before realizing I was just vaping the juice left on the wicks and still didn't get a dry hit. I'm going to see if my aros perform the same way.

They both put out nice clouds on my 70 PG/30VG juices but I'm into throat hit and tastiness primarily. They're totally yummy using my kgo vv/vw batteries, all from the vendor mentioned in the video previously posted.

I've been considering the evods and now that I know the aro coil heads will work on them also, I will have to order a couple for a test run. Thanks for the info.

Evods are great and I find them to be less finicky than the aro. The aro dies vape really well, but I get gurgles and leaks a lot, and have found them to do better with a juice that is higher in vg. The vape is verrrry smooth on the aro. I'll keep tinkering with my rebuilds because the aro is stellar, but the evod is tried and true!

If I slowly turn them to barely make contact and about an 1/8th of a turn more, I rarely have leaks. But if I twist the bases all the way down even though it doesn't feel like I'm forcing them down, I will get leaks every time.

I think the center post inside the base might need to go further up a bit so the base can make full contact onto battery, but I haven't tried that yet.

Kanger EVOD/Protank coil heads do not work in the smok clearos. The base on the Kanger heads is a bit wider. They will not allow the coil base to be inserted far enough for the base to thread to the tank.

Yeah, I didn't think so.

Add my voice to those saying that they love the ARO. I like the Protank2 and mini, too, but the ARO is even better. I am going to test the Kanger coils in the ARO, but they aren't the same size so I'm not optimistic. Would be great if it were true, though (FWIW, Eric at DiscountVapers explicitly says that they aren't compatible).

The smok coils are almost micro coils. My wife had an evod and after cleaning/dry burning a Kanger next to a smok, I think yue smok coils are better built. consistently more flavor wicks (tightens up the draw) and more tighter wraps. The wife started using the smok heads in her EVOD before it cracked and she felt the evod was better with the smok heads instead of tue Kanger heads.

When I first used the Aro a while ago, I didn't like the airy draw. Now I prefer it. My Vision V-Fate for example has a tight draw that I would have preferred when I first started vaping, but now I feel it's too tight. Funny how you can adapt to stuff.

The Aro is a nice tank and a great vape... when it's working. I got a new head in there and so far it hasn't flooded like it used to. We'll see though. I've been airing it out now and then.

T3S heads work in the Aro.. Evod/PT don't.
