I suspect the evod vv I bought might be a knock off. The B&M I bought it from was suspiciously cheap($20). But he took it out of the black kanger box and everything. He also has regular kanger batteries that have the stamp on the bottom. One reason why I suspect is cause on the back of the battery, it doesn't have the C E and check mark symbol. I saw the official kanger site and in the pic they show it. I have a 650 mAh stainless. It also doesn't have the stamp on the bottom, but I think the vv doesn't have that anyway? Appreciate the feedback guys.

I have 2 Kanger 650 mah VV batteries (one black and one stainless), each of which was bought from a different - and IMO reputable - online vendor. Neither of the batteries has the Kanger stamp on the bottom of the battery; the bottoms have a smooth, chromed finish. Sweet-Vapes currently has the batteries listed for $19.95. They were on sale for $18.99 the day before I bought my most recent VV battery - snooze and lose.

In contrast, the regular 650 (non-VV) batteries that came with my Kanger Starter Kit have the Kanger logo/design stamped on the bottom.

I remember reading a review or a description somewhere online that noted the lack of a stamp on at least the "first shipment" of VVs, and the dealer indicated that he would be checking with Kanger. I thought it was in the Sun-Vapers site, but I can't find the statement now so it could have been elsewhere.

I don't see a "CE" stamp on any of my Kanger batts. All the batts have either "EVOD" or "EVOD VV" printed near the bottom, in line with the button. The buttons on the VV batts ARE bigger in diameter than the buttons on the regular batts.

Anyway, you probably just got a good deal from your B&M.

Ok, so I'm at my friend's place. Update is yes my button on the vv is bigger and yes the back of his regular 650 mAh does have the CE mark on it.

Ohh and that site your thinking about was discount vapers. Eric said it. Lol I forgot to mention that earlier.

Good good, glad to hear that, seems like you just got a good price on it then! :)

Exact same for my EVOD 650mah battery, I dont have a VV and no CE stamp, just EVOD and the K on the bottom. Wander what CE stands for? My EVOD BCC has Kangertech TM on it. bought from GoodEJuice so I know there Kanger.

My understanding is that the CE stamp is basically a certification that the product meets EU product standards & legislation so the CE stamp allows for the product to be freely traded within the European economic arena.

Exactly correct. It's a European mark to allow there sale in the European Union of Countries.
