Ive been using kanger protanks and vivi nova. I've been pretty happy with both I actually prefer the nova but I ordered a evod and I really like it. You can't beat the price and the preformence is awesome. Taste quality is great and the throat hit is what I'm looking for! I wasn't sure what to think when I bought it but I highly recommend it to any new vapor!

They do hit good and are great for running around.
Little messy when refilling but easy enough to get used to grabbing a paper towel first. HAVE to remember to remove it from the battery by grabbing the base or you'll get a juice bath which I've done several times.

A) Make sure the base is tight
B) Make sure the Evod is NOT tight.
Snug to contact and STOP:D

The base should be tight to the evod body as it's seal against the little silicone O ring.

EVOD should be installed on the battery just to make contact and fire. I use one hand method. Hold the battery between your palm and pinky, thumb and index finger to tighten up.

So, when removing the EVOD from battery and the tank comes apart, then you are not doing it right. Not even close.

Cheers

I use to use evods also but switched to the protank cause of the tank size. Given I was use to the evods tighter draw, when i got the protank i didnt like it very much. BUT after using it for awhile i got use to the draw and love it. I dont use it anymore since i gave away and sold my VV gear..... now i only have mech mods. I think after vape funds go back up I would like to get a provari.

Got back from the store and had my evod rig in my pocket on its side and flooded it really bad. I was in there buying yarn so I could try this trick because the coil in my Protank was flooding even while upright.

Opened up the coil and the thread that was in there looks like a synthetic material because it has a shine and the protank coil that was flooding only had 1 strand so I went ahead and put in 2 anyway. The knockoff bcc coils I have both had 2 strands and also look synthetic but I never had a flooding problem with them, only the real Kangers.

So far so good.

Funny, mine are just the opposite. I can pocket carry upside down or right side up. Lay them on a table or stand them upright. None of them have ever leaked on me.(26 BCC's and counting):D

When I finally opened it up at home the 510 was FULL of liquid. Are you using Kanger coils? If so ever open them up and see how many pieces of wick? I didn't have any problems with the no names but wanted to try a lower OHM so I bought Kanger at the B&M.
