I'm new to vaping, I started with a kanger emow setup and an extra battery(evod) for my birthday($120 in gear and juice) in October of 2014. I noticed immediately that the emow battery had a short lifespan and the evod seemed to work better so I traded it to a friend. I used my evod from October to November (thanksgiving) and in that time I vaped about 4 tanks of halo juice through it untill I lost it somewhere in my house. So I went out dropped another $100 on an ipow2 battery USB converter for my truck because it didn't come with anything but a USB and more halo juice. I've since noticed a ridiculously long charge time on the ipow2. So long in fact that I've charged it twice since I bought it in December and having only vaped 1 tank I would just keep carrying it from my tool belt to my house. Now I know what your thinking; don't put it in your tool belt!, however I am an intelligent person who is aware of their tools and is very careful with my now 200$ investment to help me quit smoking. Anyway it was misplaced again and after having found it today, I noticed it was dead. Its been over 2 weeks since I last had it, when I went to charge it, it blinked three times and would not charge. I hopped online to search some forums and didnt get any answers. I then tried to plug it back in and noticed some resistance in the battery side of the USB cable and then I continued to plug it in with the same results. I then went back online and searched harder for some answers and still found none. I then inspected the battery and noticed some obstruction in the USB connection port on the battery. I got my small tool and gently tried to dislodge the obstruction when I was able to identify it as the tab that inserts in the slot on the USB cable. So in turn the very expensive battery is now junk. Unless of course anyone knows how to fix it. But as of now, I'm thoroughly aggravated with the design of the charging port and kanger tech in general. Instead of helping me save money so far I've wasted it. I'm deciding if I should buy another 50-80$ battery or throw it all in the garbage and be done with it.
