On my protank i removed the flavor wicks and it flooded, so i but them back and only removed two little strands so i can make it wetter when needed but no completely flooded. If it does flood i remove the tank put the tip in my mouth. Tilt my hed back so the liquid is off the wicks. and blow into paper.. If i hold it down and blow it seems like im emptying the tank.

So far so good - all the advice here seemed to help.

I think my problem is and has been like getting a new toy. Tear open my new MT3, through in some juice (that I always seem to forget to shake), and Vape it like i want to suck the atomizer into my mouth.

So today, i took the same MT3, (cleaned and dried), filled it to the top with juice (Halo Freedom Juice 70/30), Let it sit for an hour, Started Vaping on it about 3 today (4 volts).

Took nice gentle long draws, 2 or three at a time. Had great vapor production, kept it upright as much as possible. I am just about to finish the tank dry.

The best part is not a single gurgle. Consistent flavor all the way through, no burnt taste.

What have I learned? Take it easy, relax, no need to get in a hurry.

I am now going to get the EVOD and see how it does.

What I have figured out about bottom feeders is that you need to keep them as close to vertical as possible when they start getting low on juice. Once you take a draw where one of the wicks is not covered by juice in the tank the seal gets broken and it floods soon after. Once i figured this out I started to be able to vape my t3's dry as long as I hold my PV right while vaping.

I guess I don’t have much problem with flooding when the tank gets low, because I usually keep my ecig vertical enough to keep the wicks covered.

Juice stays in a bottom coil clearo for the same reason that liquid stays in a straw if you cover the end with your finger. If air gets in, juice leaks out. As long as the wicks are covered and the juice level is high, air can’t break the surface tension of the juice to get into the tank.

Re: Why does water stay in a straw when you cover one end.

Of course, when you suck air through the clearo, it draws juice out of the tank which lowers the pressure inside. Then air comes into the tank to equalize the pressure.

I am terribly frustrated with my T3s. I have tried all sorts of things. I kept all the wicks in one, terribly dry nasty tasting hits. Flip the top gasket, little better, but cottonmouth dry. Remove a flavor wick, flood! I just can't seem to get one to work right. I am currently working my way though several ce4s that taste tons better. I have not completely given up on them, but at this point, IMHO they are garbage.

Wow! Is this a new T3S or the older style T3? The T3S coil I’ve been using for about a week and a half is working perfectly. Maybe try a different head.

They are the older style. I was looking at the new coils and thinking of trying one of those, as well as getting a battery mod to seal it better, tighten up the draw. It all seemed like throwing good money after bad at this point.

I am planning on playing around with a carto tank and a mod battery later, so I will keep the T3s around till I buy those.

The older T3 coils are a real PITA. Do yourself a favor and just get some of the new ones. They don't have a lot of the problems that you're having with the old ones. I've been using a new one for about a week and a half and haven't got any dry hits yet. Also, the replacement coils are a lot cheaper.
