Kanger KBOX broken already?

I don't know if anyone can help but my KBOX Mod is blinking three times which either means the short circuit protection has engaged or the coil is below .4/ The coils are .5. Everything has been fine for a couple days. Been running a .5 coil nano tank and .5 delta II on it and it was fine till today. If I had a 1.2 coil for the nano I could test it maybe the sensor is off and is reading the .5 coil as lower and is shutting down? Not sure how it would've short circuited...frustrating sad face. Do you think its eternally stuck on protection mode...it just locks up and blinks three times when I fire it up? I'm guessing it reading the .5 coils at .4 and is locking up...weird that it would be reading the nano and delta below .4 though...weird too because I don't think they advertise it for Not For Use with SubOhm tanks.

Update: their site says "Fit with 0.4ohm or above atomizer"

I don't have one, but this trick works on many other mods to reset them.

Plug in the charger. (couldn't hurt)

Also, the 3 blinks might mean a short. Look carefully at the 510 connection. Is it centered/concentric?

I am not sure about your issue. But I have a regular subtank and I just use the OCC coil, and my sigelei 100+ and istick 50w showed something like "check atomizer" before with the subtank on. So each time I replaced the coil and the issue went away. My coils were all gunked up when I took them out so it's a good warning asking me to replace the coil. I hope that's the case for you. GL.
