Hi! I've been vaping on and off for a while. My last unit had an aspire tank with some cheap run of the mill eGo battery.
As of right now I'm running on a 1300 MaH twist battery and a little crappy atomizer. But I am changing that.

Recently (today), I purchased a Kanger Mini Protank 3 from Amazon. I'm currently waiting for it to ship in.
Now, what I am wondering is, what do I use as a replacement coil? I'm aware KangerTech is a Chinese company and sometimes looking around it's hard to find conrete answers that you're looking for.

Do I use regular Kanger coils? Is there a specific coil for the model I am buying?

I have a link to some coils on amazon but I'm not allowed to post links.
Is there somewhere I can find them cheaper?

Thanks a lot.

Hey Tacoon,

Kanger has i guess you can call them Coil Groups,

The protank 3 mini (i currently use.. fantastic tank BTW) uses there Duel coil units, that are good for Protank 3, Areo tank, protank mini 3, evod 2, and i think a few more.

make sure its not the single coil unit (there for protank mini 1 and evod 1s) or there Clearomizer CC coils (There different too)

On the back of the box, (Weather in a store or online) it will have kind of a checklist with the coils compatibility.

Hope this helps,

I usually get mine on eBay.
Kanger have recently started doing an upgraded dual coil
Where the wicks are hidden.
Tbh I don't notice much difference in them.
Just kanger dual coil atomizers should do the
Job. Usually get a pack of 5 for bout £6-£7

i have yet to try the upgraded coils yet, but yeah here i canada there about 12-15 bucks

Wow. I know this community is active but I didn't expect such a nice welcome and open responses. Thanks, you guys.

If you don't mind me asking, where do you find these for that price? Am I allowed to even ask that? Or can you just hint at it at the least :p.

Thanks a lot.

I buy mine from Discount Vapers. $7.95 for 5 regulars and $9.95 for 5 enclosed wick. Not sure if it's the best price but they are quick as heck in the shipping dept and give 5% off to returning customers.

That is awesome and way cheaper than I expected. Thank you so very much.

I don't feel like bombarding with questions so I'll just go do some research on the enclosed wick units.

You guys are awesome and really welcoming.I'll be sure to come back.

Thanks again.

Hi.I'm vaper for like 4 months now and as lots of ppl here, after giving up analogs, I'm a bit crazy about lowering costs.
So, if you use kanger, my suggestion is, search youtube and see how easy is to rebuild kanger coils.
I use single coils( I use them for protank3,mini pro 3, aero mega) cos there are very easy to rebuild, also I use cotton instead of silica, so much better flavour.
I bought set of ten single kanger coils and keep rebuild them for last 2 months.it's all great.I can even play little bit with resistance.happy days!
