Kanger MT3

I have a weird problem with a new kanger mt3 i just picked up. When i screw it on to my vamo it reads 2.6ohms but if i tighten it then it will read 0.0ohms? If i loosen a little i can get it to vary the ohms from 0.0 ohms to 2.6? Obviously i have to leave it loose or the vamo will error "lo". Does anybody know what would cause this? Also if i change the head (atomizer) it will do it with that head to. When i put a different kanger mt3 on the vamo i have no problems. Any ideas why this one mt3 would be doing this?

tightening it to far may be pressing the center pin into the battery area. That would cause a short and read at 0 ohms, I think. best to only put it on until it connects, then maybe a slight bit more to just "snug it on"

I thought about that too. Problem is i can only screw it on a little before it reads zero. I can. wobble it back and forth its so loose.

try using a 510 to 510 adapter and see if you have the same issues... I use one on mine because it gives a slightly tighter draw. If you still have the issue, then contact the vendor and ask if you can send it back for a replacement.

or maybe just make a new coil for it. there are youtube videos on how to.

Thanks for the tip on using the adapter! I'm liking my MT3 but the draw is a bit airy for my taste and I'm having to hold it all funny to cover up some of the holes. I've got an adapter on my list for use with a drip shield and it's nice to know I'll be able to get double duty out of it!

You can tighten the draw by sticking round tooth pics in the holes one or two than just cut them flush with a nail clipper.

Yes, the toothpick will work, or you can rub a bit of candle wax in a hole as well.

slightly pull the center pin out on the mt3. should help. Toothpick trick works great for draw.
