If you've every vaped Wintergreen or Teaberry, vodka or another strong alcohol is about the only thing that'll get it out. Most all of my tanks are now stainless steel, so I boil most of them, but even that doesn't get those two flavors out. Once they're in, they're in until you give them a nice soak

It doesn't help that my first Teaberry DIY was running at about 10-15% flavor (which is a HORRIBLE overkill - that stuff is strong!).

Thanks that is a really good pictures and that is how mine looks, the white cap looking thing on top then the part where the steam screws down to the base has a o ring on that part so when its screwed down u cant really see it. then it has the one below where it screws onto the base then the bigger one at the bottom that where the base meets the tank. I really do not know where its leaking from the steam is pressed on good to the head.

Did you make sure that very top seal is making good contact with the center tube? You have to screw the base into the body with either a clearish juice or empty and look through the windows where they make contact. If there is a gap there (like the center tube that leads up to the mouthpiece is warped or too short) then that is the culprit. If that is fine then the only place left is through the wick hole, meaning the wick isn't taking up enough of the space to stop it leaking there. In that case remove the flavor wicks and replace them with some boiled 100% cotton yarn.

Well i stuck a couple extra wicks on top of the coil/wick, put juice in and tried it out, it worked i just let it sit maybe 10 minutes and just used it, so far so good. maybe it was letting to much juice down on the wick and sucking up in the stem, Not sure. Maybe it will stay working.
when I first got it, i totally messed up the coil so replaced it with another one and never put any other wicks back on top.
I am still pretty new to this stuff.

I agree that FT Evods are inferior, but if you had good experience with them - cool!
I use all of these - EVOD, T3Mini, T3S, ProTank, MiniProTank.
The EVOD coils with a short stem have been discontinued - you won't keep finding them. The longer stem fits the ProTank and the EVOD. The T3 coil has a slightly narrower diameter flat ring part - so you COULD use a T3 coil in an EVOD, but you CAN'T use an EVOD coil in a T3!

I would recommend you at some point, spend a little extra and get a ProTank Mini. They work great, look great, and you need the glass to vape anything with citrus or cinnamon... And - same coil as EVOD.

There's SLIGHT differences between a T3 and an EVOD - airflow mostly, and mostly noticeable if you are putting them on mods - they vape almost the same on an EGO. But, for instance, I don't use a T3 on my Innokin SVD (airflow gets blocked).

Thanks, i will keep a eye on them, so far there good, i been busy with other things, Or normally i would already had pictures up, but my camera got broke, Anyhow. compared the two heads last night and the FT head is lots shorter then the Kanger one. the center post is just so much longer i didn't try to make them interchange but i am sure they wouldn't

I hope I have that right, I know one was long one was sort. I will try to get pics with labels soon. I will be ordering all of my Evods from DiscountVapers - Your source for savings on electronic cigarettes and accessories, Go-go eGo, vGo I really like this company he has stood beside his products and done right with me so far, plus i really not found any cheaper unless your buying 3+ at a time.

I really like the size of the Evod tanks, I am sure some wish there bigger but the size is great for me.. Now if i could only find a Pyrex tank the same size as the Evod.

Glad to hear it. Good luck.

The slight variation in coil heads is maddening and I'm sorely tempted to just buy CE4's off eBay for £2 each and toss them. I'm not a big fan of cinnamon and citrus, anyway. If there were a bottom coil equivelent of the CE4 (that is, cheap and disposable) I would go with that without hesitation.

I have some S1/cubicas, but the heads (T2) are very hard to find.

I was sold a T3, and then found out they require a new base and T3S heads. Very annoying and I'm not willing to pay that, again. I didn't like the airy draw, anyway.

I don't like evods because I can't see in them in dim light and they only look cool if the are the same colour as the battery. I am also not thrilled with the draw.

I got something new on Vape Escape: the Vape Only V2 BCC. It's all one clear piece and I am told that the coils are the same as evod. Holding them side-by-side, they look 99% identical, with a stem maybe 1mm longer. I like them fine. I got coils and figured it would be worth the bother. Just how interchangeable with Evods they really are, I don't yet know. That 1mm difference may make a difference.

I have tried all of them and have never seen a clearo of any kind that I loved out of the box. Since recently getting into rebuildables and modding T3's, vivi's and one Kanger evod, I am by far having the best luck out of the Evod. I'm not sure what it is about the design, but it's my favorite vape of all time excluding RDA's.

From what I've researched on Fasttech, the FT Evod and Kanger Evod take different heads. They are different part numbers with the FT Evod taking a 22mm head/stem and the real Kanger head/stem being 27mm.

I ordered several different T3S, T4 and FT Evods and their recommended replacement heads. I'll rebuild and interchange all of them and see what works in what other tank.
