iTaste VTR: 3-6V and 3-15W
Kangertech Nano: running 1.2ohm stock coil
70vg/30pg juice.

So. I have been running 12-15W and it produces good vaper, no so good taste but if i drop it down to a low wattage for better taste i dont get enough vapor like at all. When I go to volts it taste better and gets good vapor production...so i have been wondering about Volts. And I know this topic has been beaten to death:facepalm:, but I am pretty new to mods so it would help if some veterans could chime in:p

difference in battery life?
difference in vapor production?
difference in taste?

Also, what airflow would be most beneficial for best vapor production and taste, 1 hole, 2 holes, or open?

You have been vaping between 3.795V and 4.243V, as those are the voltages needed to supply 12W, and 15W respectively to the coil.

More power/voltage to the coil would spend faster the charge on the battery.

I'd say that best vapor is with the air wide open. Got plenty of flavor with my Subtank Mini in that position.

So. i was wondering why i was getting those headaches... i took out the wick and found it was TOASTED!... vaping a burnt wick for 2 days straight.. I think i may have been running it a bit high for the ratio of VG i was using 70/30, or it could have been because of the chain vaping I do without realizing im vaping a thicker juice... but anyway I went and got another coil and some new juice 60pg/40vg (ironic I thought id never use that high of pg) and it taste AMAZING and no headaches!! :D:D:D

Something I found useful with thicker liquids is to keep sucking (probably not the best verb...) a little while after releasing the firing button. That could improve draining a bit.

Running 1.2 coil, istick 30 at 8-10 W. All over that it gets too hot/warm which i dont like....

I found the same thing, if i vape at 12watts it gets warm and I have to stop taking it into my lungs because I feel like im going to burn it. BUT at lower watts 8-10 as you said I can keep ripping it with cool vapor. And until I get a mod that I can drip on, im fine with my current set up even though at that low of a watt I dont get the vapor production that I like but the flavor is what I want the most.

I also run mine wide open at 8-10 watts on the istick
With the Kamry im wide open and at 13.5 watts
Im using 100% VG and 70% / 30% VG, Both with the 1.2 ohm

What airflow do you guys use? I found that the wide open I keep that coils very cool which I like but sacrifice vapor production. Gosh I just need a better mod with a drip tip lol
