Kanger or aspire

If you are getting a new box mod. I would recommend the IPV2S. Can go from 7W-60W and also supports sub ohming. Right now i am running an aspire nautilus on it. Vapes very very amazing. Also, the flavor is right on the dot. And, my first coil for it didn't burn out until a MONTH after i got it. And i vape very heavily on it. Just something to think about:)

At this point, I'm done with everything Aspire, and everything disposable. I'm sure the Atlantis is a nice little toy, but I'm totally confident that for the price of a bit of Kanthal and cotton, I can build a better coil than I can buy from them. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it exists, and I understand it's filling a valid market segment, but I've moved on from there. So I'd go with the rebuildable Kanger.

Im skeptical of anything kanger puts out... never had a good experience with their products. Well, never is unfair. I rebuilt one of their coil heads, and it worked great, other than that, its been crap. All the aspire products Ive owned have worked great, for their intended purpose.

Ive moved beyond clearomizers though. You will wish you had skipped them... buy a lemo, or a billow. If you are stuck on clearos? Eleaf has a new tank coming out called the Melo... it uses Atlantis coil heads, and is about $20 cheaper!

I have a box full of clearos, tanks, and various other types of atomizers. Most are good, but since I tried a Kayfun 3.1 all those became unused backups.

After the initial purchase an RBA is cheaper to run and a coil can last months with a wick change here and there. Sometimes, I get a week out of a Japanese cotton wick. I always get at least 3 or 4 days out of one. Rayon is my next buy. I just need to go by Sally's Beauty Supply and buy some.

At the rate I'm consuming wire and wicks I can get a year or more out of an $8 roll of Kanthal wire and 6 months out of a small pack of Japanese cotton pads that I cut strips from for wicking. At the rate my Kanger and Aspire heads were failing, it was costing me $1.50 a day for heads.

When I changed to an RBA my Kanger and Aspire heads were fouling at a high rate with 80/20 PG/VG juices. That problem may be fixed now. My Kanger and Aspire heads were steadily rising in resistance until they popped where the non-resistive wire was silver soldered to the resistance wire.

Check out this PBusardo review of the sub, with comparisons to the Atlantis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4z1DlgzYPeE I really like the design of the sub prebuilt coils. They look easy to rebuild, should you decide to go that route. All in all, it appears that with the sub, that little box is just crammed full of options for setups that simply don't exist with the Atlantis. After watching the vid, the sub is now at the top of my 'to get' list.

I have the subtank and I got that over the Atlantis because I wanted to get more into rebuilding as it comes with an RBA deck. It holds 6ml over 2ml with the Atlantis, has high quality organic cotton coils, and is amazing quality.

Also please note that there is talk of the Atlantis being a copper base that is plated in areas around the coil as well as the drip tip itself. I do NOT feel comfortable putting copper in my mouth.

But also note that popular belief is that the Atlantis is just a little bit better for blowing clouds (the subtank puts out and insane amount as well), and the subtank is better with flavor.... And once you out in the RBA section the flavor is really insane.

It would probably be hard to distinguish between the two though. Good luck!

I was asking myself this same question. Going back and forth with the pros and cons trying to decide which one to buy. It was a tough decision. I was leaning more and more toward the Subtank until I was sure it was the one. Then as soon as I was about to pull the trigger... I ordered a Lemo.

Still think I would pick the SubTank over the Atlantis though.
