Kanger Pro Tank head using Stainless Steel Mesh

Has anyone rebuilt one doing this and is there an advantage of this over using cotton or silica?

I've never tried this with a Pro-tank / Evod head, but I know on my Genesis tanks it can be tricky and frustrating to eliminate hot spots and shorts. I can't imagine trying to do the same in the limited space in a PT / Evod head.

I agree and I would be afraid of shorting out the battery.

Interesting. I have never used SS mesh. Too bad the person doing this did not show the wick heating up when he first fired it. All he showed was the ohm of the coil.

What would be the benefit to using SS mesh over cotton? Would it just be that you would no longer have to replace the cotton when you did a dry burn?

I know mesh has amazing flavor but to me it wouldn't be worth it in a pro tank coil to small and I'd be afraid of it flooding.

I wonder what is the advantage of SS, would you get a better flavor and or vaper? Would this last longer between needing to rebuild? Would any e-juice from thin to thick work better? Less burned hits?

I use ecowool in my re-builds for my tanks, torch it first and the flavor is as geed as SS or cotton, and you can dry burn it.

Just read up on ekowool and I going to try it...says it hold the flavor better then cotton wicks, do you find that to be true?

I find the flavor to be about the same, but the ecowool can be dry burned and holds up for weeks, cotton lasts only a day or two.

I tried a SS wick a couple of times. Was never successful in building something that worked for more than a few puffs. Shorts and leaks were the best I got for the cost and effort. Another vaping Hype that failed, for me. YRMV.

What's the point. All sAid And done look like it hit just like A kanger protank. Kind of like sooping up a powder blue prius.
