Dropped my Kanger Pro tank yesterday. It shattered, it was attached to my ProVari so the added weight probably had something to do with it. Be careful with them, they will break. I have already replaced it, they are that good.
I dropped my Evic with a Protank attached. I have a crack but no leaking. I am debating if I can still use it. It seems fine, vapes ok. I was thinking about trying to seal it with clear nail polish???. Is that crazy? I have two more coming from a co-op but that will take awhile. Ok I do have another one at home. I use them with all my gear from little egos, vamo and the evic. I do use the evod heads with them as well, with no problems. Protank replacement heads are a little hard to find and evod heads are everywhere. I also bought replacement bottoms for my T3 to use the Evod replacement coils.
i dropped a protank/eVic combo. hit right on the mouthpiece on the concrete. put a small ding in it in the mouthpiece, no shattered glass. on the same note, i just BUMPED one (a different one by the way) and the whole 510 connector snapped off inside the eVic and i had to buy a new bottom for it ( i actually bought 2 to have an extra on hand, just in case it happens again), but since finding out they were brass ( causes me to blister) i stopped using them.
dropping it and dinging the mouthpiece is how i found out that they were made of brass instead of stainless steel as advertised. went to polish the nick out and all of the sudden it turned copper colored and then brass colored. i now use my ismoka mega BCC as my goto, a couple of top coil vivi nova minis (spring loaded post, damn good little units) and a AGI RBI in tank mode with cotton wick at around 1ohm. works like a charm. scrapped the nichrome wire it came with and went to a 32 kanthal. didnt like the SS mesh much. blue flamed the chit out of it and the wire and no matter what i did (it was well oxidized) i still got that metallic hint in the taste. used the same kanthal on the cotton wick setup and low and behold the metallic taste vanished right away and its been vaping like a bad dog every since. i also got alot of dry hits before changing over to the wick on this thing.
waiting on a couple of kanger T3S's to come in now as well as a couple of kanger mini protanks i ordered for the wife ( from kanger).... price is high ordering them individually from kanger (almost 50 bucks apiece with shipping) but cant wait to try them out. im sure the wife will get them both if they are brass based like the protank unless the chrome is thicker. price on those things goes WAY WAY down if you order a bunch of them. i may buy 100 just to resell!....(kanger now has them in stock and shipping by the way, thats where i ordered them)

i have rebuilt the protank head with 5 wraps of 32 kanthal i keep getting 1.3 OHMs it seems it should be higher i am trying to get 2.5 ohms what am i doing wrong please help
Check the wires where you snip them off at the gromit and make sure they are tucked under.
You can also jump up to 6 wraps and see if the ohms go up...it worked for me.
