kanger protank 2

Hi guys

can someone please tell me if the kanger protank 2 comes with a plinth/collar sleeve thingy for ego type batteries ?

I ordered the protank mini and they were out of stock so the vendor sent me the protank 2 instead .

Some forums say it comes with it some not , if it doesn't could you helpful people tell me where can I get one ? Or suggest something I can use ? I really like the way the protank mini looks on a ego , looks almost factory and I'm aiming for a flush compete look .

IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE ADAPTER!!! For some stupid reason, the Kangertech company decided that it was easier to have angry customers that snapped the base off of their tank, than to put one extra little part in their kit. They are cheap and available at most online retailers, and you should NOT go without one. Sorry, I do not have a link.

the protank 1 did come with it and they are shown in the pictures of the protank 2 so i think its safe to say it does you may find that its a little large for the ego but thats obviously a personal preference thing. i feel pretty confident in saying yes it will come with a thread hider/collar to make it look flush and add support.

EDIT: then again the post above me states it does not come with one so now im a little confused by this. the protank 1 did come with one.... hmmmm

Protank 1- Shows the sleeve with most online retailers

Protank 2- None of the retailers I see have a sleeve in the pick, just the tank and 2 atomizer heads (one 2.5ohm the other 1.8 ohm)

I bought a protank 2 and the shop I bought it from through in the collar, but it wasn't part of the kit...

The PT2 was released in part to correct the weakness issue of the 510 connection on the PT1. It is stronger, but at the cost of leaving out the beauty ring? I'm not sure, yet.

The PT2 will work with eGo style batteries without an adapter or the beauty ring and screws into the battery using the center threads.

No doubt it will work without one, but the tiny little threaded base on the tank will snap if dropped, and I even heard of one snapping in my friends pocket. Very sticky situation. Best to use the collar, it really is functional, not just a beauty ring.

most vendors here in SA says they dont ship with the support plinth collar so i dont know just have to wait until then to see ...


and the crappy part is no vendor in SA sells it , and i havent found any online stores that ship to SA

The protank 1 came with one, however i just received my protank 2 and it just comes with the 2 coils, base and the tank itself.

Good luck! I don't know if they have a minimum amount to qualify for free shipping, but they have so much e-cig related stuff that even if they do, I'm sure you'll find something else on the site to add to your order!
