yes, I would like to know what you think. I have the one without the removable drip tip and truthfully I do not like the feel or the taste of that tip. I have used other chrome drip tips and they do not bother me, but for some reason this one is not as comfy as the old acrylic tips on almost everything else they have.

I agree I do not like the taste or feel either. I put a piece of wire heat shrink on mine it help some.

I've been using the new Mini Protank 2 (v2) for a little over 24 hours now. I can tell you right off the bat that it is a clear winner when compared to my EVOD and other cartomizer tanks. The taste is great, nothing but vapor!

You'll want to know that both my NEW Mini Protank 2 (with removable drip tip) and my OLD Mini Protank 2 (without removable drip tip) came in the exact same packaging. There is literally no way to know by looking at the box which one you have. Even the instructions it comes with both say "Mini Protank-II (V1)". The package also shows an illustration of two atomizers, one is 1.8ohm and the other 2.4ohm, but both atomizers that came with the NEW MPT2 were 2.5ohm. My older one came with two 1.8ohm atomizers.

Being able to switch the drip tip is really nice. The one that it comes with sits perfectly flush with the rest of the tank. At first, I was getting a metallic-y taste on my vape so I ended up switching it out for a cheap ceramic blue drip tip which made everything taste and feel much better.

My only complaint is that the setup itself feels a little looser than the MPT2 without removable tip. If you wiggle it around, you can feel that there is some play where all the various parts connect. I'm worried that this could eventually lead to some leakage of e-lquid over time, but nothing has leaked yet.

Any questions?

Hi everyone.I have been thinking about getting the mini Protank(v2).Could you tell me how much juice they hold and what ohm I should get for my vv ego battery? Thanks everyone.

The Mini Protank 2 holds a little less than 1.5 ml. Because of where the end of the tube is, you'll always have to under fill it just a little bit so it doesn't all spill into the mouthpiece. For a VV eGo battery like mine that goes from 3.2 to 4.8 volts, any of the atomizers available for the MPT2 are fine. For my 1.8ohm atomizer, I usually set the VV between 3.2 and 3.6 volts. For a 2.5ohm atomizer, I'll set it between 3.8 and 4.2 volts. And if you have a plain eGo battery, those are usually standard at 3.7 volts, and you'll still get a good vape from it.

Thanks Topcider, I'm going to buy the mini Protank 2 with removable tip. Also I will be buying a couple of 1.8 atomizers to go with the 2.5 that come with the mini and go from there.I'm not into throat hit at all but I am into flavor so i'll try both and see where my sweet spot is. Thanks again.I have learned a lot on this forum.
