Kanger protank 2

I think the dual coil design is a gimmick. When I rebuild for my Mini Protank 3s, I only build single coils in those tall dual coil heads, and the vape is WAY better, and not just because I use cotton. In such a tiny chamber, there's no point in over-doing it. That said, I'm sure the PT3 is every bit as quality as the PT2. I have a clone of the PT2 and that thing simply rocks in all its cheapness, so the original has to be good. :) Love our Kanger MPT3s.

Right now, the juice I like the most is red hot candy, in my mini Protank 3. The vape is a bit warmer with the dual coils, and the vapor output might be a bit more that what I get with my T3S tanks, but not by much. I want to start rebuilding my old Kanger heads (all single coil except for the mini PT3) once I get an ohm tester. I could use my MVP to test ohms, but I'm planning on eventually getting into RBAs/RDAs and want to be as safe as possible. From what I've seen, the Kanger single coil heads are pretty easy to rebuild, and I keep hearing that the cotton wicks make a big difference vs silica. I just think it's cool that you can rebuild a Kanger head and get a better quality vape out of it. It's nice that the single coil heads will fit into the Protank 3\Aerotank too, gives the consumer a choice.

Indeed. And the wife and I have been rebuilding the dual coil sized heads with single coils too. Really easy, and we're hitting about 1.5ohms fairly consistently. We were going to wait for an ohms meter too, but figured out how to use my cheap multimeter instead. Makes a world of difference vaping out of our Kanger-based stuff now.
