So my new protank 3 hit the parking lot and now it won't thread into my Vamo V5. I'm referring to the base with the 510 connector threads, the one with the knurled edge not the base that seals the glass sleeve. Seems like the threads on the base are damaged since it won't tighten to even finger-tight and the tank wobbles. It is still electrically operable if I use one hand to hold it in place and the other to hit the fire button, very undesirable condition.
This raises some questions: First, I've seen posts from other vapers who've experienced the same problem. does this indicate a design or production flaw? I ordered two threaded bases for the protank 2 (They were the only replacement parts I could find.) hoping they would fit the protank 3, does anyone know if the threaded base for the PT2 is compatible with the PT3?
Any and all replies are most welcome since I like the bottom dual coil performance and would hate to buy another tank if this is a common problem.
