Kanger Protank 3 coils

So i was googling around looking at random atty's carto's whatnot, and i saw a picture of a protank 3. When i looked at it closely the coils that it was using was the PT2 coils not the new small ones. I was intrigued when i saw it but had to give it a shot since PT3 coils are ..... i tend to go through them every few days or they would flood and overflow, causing my only fix to it would be replacing the coil. So i tried the PT2 coil on the PT3 and it seems to be holding up pretty well. Anyone else try this or having any problems with their protank 3? or did they update the PT3 recently?

The only differences between the outer bits of the pt2/3 coils are the short chimneys, squared off positive contact, and air holes. You can easily just throw the short chimney on the pt2 head and call it good, though on one of mine it's a slightly tighter fit.

Rebuilding procedure is exactly the same.
