I'm looking at getting a Kanger Genitank and a mini PT3 clone for my wife and I was reading that while you can't use PT3 coil heads in a PT 1&2 you can use PT 1&2 coils in a PT 3 you just have to and a second silicon cap to seal the tank, is that correct cause if so saving a few bucks by getting PT 1&2 coils and maybe getting her a genuine mini PT2 and use same coils for both

correct; the pt3 head is taller so it needs more space.
the pt1&2 heads are shorter so they can fit in the pt3 space but the top is not sealed, so you need to add the extra cap to seal it so it won't gurgle and leak

I use the same ones in mine and I don't use the extra gasket. Works fine for me. Never had a problem. I do rebuild my coils for them so that might make a difference.

Yea I'm going to start rebuilding once I get the PT Coils I look up a how to since it seems everyone does it can't be to hard
