This is weird but I used to try to find clearomizers that would fit my batteries now I am looking for a battery that will not only fit with but also look well with my protank. That is the only tank I will ever use anymore. Right now I have an ego-T and a Vision Spinner, I have no problems with my batteries and really love the spinner. I would like to get a "bigger battery" one that looks well with the protank. Any suggestions?

Nice question. I'll be following it. :)
I don't have the Protank yet, but I'm anxiously awaiting one. I assumed that it was the same diameter of the Vivi Nova, which I like. That fits well on a Provari. According to my "ruler-and-piece-of-paper" skills, it should also match the Provape-1 exactly. That's my next purchase - not because Provape is so awesome (it is) but because I usually don't venture out or 3.7 volt territory anyway. :)

Morning Sexy!

That is the whole reason I haven't tried the protank yet. I have been looking at the L Rider Robust - based on what I've read - it isn't huge but isn't as thin as the spinners. Most of the review have been good. I may break down and get one soon to try...I was hopeful about the Matrix but the three stage wasn't so good - vapes sorta cool after a few puffs at the highest stage.

I can't wait for someone to make a VV tube mod in between a spinner and one of the big boys. I just can't bring myself to carry a provari or evic in public. (I have a reputation to uphold!)

If you want something that matches the size better, you're looking at getting into mods.

Here's what it looks like on an eVic, most big battery mods will be similar in diameter due to the batteries they use.

The protank is big but oh so beautiful and the best vape I've ever experienced. I was at first put off by the airy vape but have since come to absolutely love it. I try another tank and it's got a tighter draw and I hate it lol. Plus I seem to have to draw harder to get the vape that the protank gives me. As long as they keep making these babies I'm gonna stick with them. I can get the coils from discount vapers for like 6 dollars for a 5 pack...yeah, really lol. Also, if I ever get brave, they are easy easy to rewick and recoil the heads. I really just want a battery that looks good with it.

If anyone has any protanks that they don't want feel free to send em my way lmao.

Works well and looks pretty good with E2 Apollo batteries. (use 1.8 heads) DV is getting more Apollo Twists in soon and I'm planning on getting a couple.

Fred, Talk to me about this apollo - looks a lot like the Matrix, which I like as far as look and feel. This Apollo is a twist? How do you like it? It looks great with the ProTank.....I love everything about the my new mod EXCEPT I cannot really control the voltage.

Like gal said, they can get large in a hurry - you could always go with something shorter. Here's a couple of mine - diameter is really close but you save some on the overall length. The one on the left is using an 18350 battery, the eVic uses an 18650:

Bubba - the eVic - how do you like it? I was considering one but then getting a eGo T Mod 18350 tube to make it a mini....

It's funny that I keep seeing people saying "they're not for me" and "draw too airy" but haven't seen one in the classifieds. I was trolling there to see if someone was wanting to unload one so I could try it. Maybe people are like me and hang on to stuff they don't really love but keep as a backup?

The Apollo batteries come in 650-1100 mAh....the one pictured above is a 900 mAh. They are simply a standard eGo battery with a different casing, nifty led light rings that light up when you press the button, regulated at 3.5, so they work very well with 1.8's.

The Apollo Twist is the same thing but in VV, like the eGo Twist.

I got mine from DV....Eric has more on order and I'm hoping for twists in colors. I'll order a couple green twists if they come in.

Coupled with a ProTank, it's a very solid kit. Hefty, quality feel....a bit top heavy, but almost anything is with a PT.

I really like it. I use it every day and take it everywhere. It's taken a decent amount of abuse, similar to what anything else you take everywhere would take. It's taken a lot of flak on here from some people who feel that it should be able to withstand a fall from a 3 story building. I treat it like my kindle fire, phone, etc., and haven't had any issues. Most recently it got knocked off the table at a restaurant and hit the floor and was fine. Don't buy into the "I dropped it on carpet from 2 inches and it shattered"

For me, the two biggest features are the ability to use it as a passthrough - I can plug in my phone charger in the car and keep vaping, thus eliminating having to tote around extra batteries; second is the firmware updates. Joyetech has made a few changes so far to address peoples complaints/concerns.

The down side would be it's capped at 5V. I normally don't go over 4 so it doesn't matter but depending on what you like it may not work for you if you vape above 5V.

Just to add, I have a couple of 900 mah twists and one of them will last all day. Also second Discount Vapers - I get from them when I can but I think everyone else does too so stock comes and goes pretty quick

Vamo.....pro tank is slightly smaller....not much though

Exhale Vapors has great prices on the Vamo....it takes 18650 batteries, I use the gray Panasonic CGR18650 or AW 18650.

my vamo is dressed in a black carbon j wrap
