Kanger Protank II mini 1/3 tank refill question

I believe I've read this a few places, and if I recall Kanger recommends this as well, not to let the Protank II mini go below 1/3 full but I was wondering why? I have 2 and they both have been vaped almost down to the wick area, at least down to the the silver ring bottom part to where you cant see the liquid when held straight up and I have never had any issues whatsoever. I do clean and dry burn my wicks every few days and use only one flavor wick. Anyone know a true reason for the statement of not to go below 1/3 tank?

Bottom coil devices work on vacuum in the tank holding the liquid from the coil. When they get low they can't hold back the liquid and you get leaks or floods.

May be a concern about overheating coil/wick/liquid from lack of cooling at low levels.

i haven't had this problem on the ego sized tanks, the 18x50 sized tanks however is another story

I thought this was only the full size Protanks, because of the vacuum. Certainly I'm not getting any problems by vaping my mini protanks 1&2 until empty.

If you're nothaving any issues, I wouldn't worry about it!
