My husband wanted me to start using the Kanger Protank II so I got the mini for my E-Go V V2 Mega battery. Everything was ok until recently. It seems like I can change the atty and 4-5 puffs after priming I get a burnt taste. I "prime" it again and it is fine again for 4-5 puffs. The attys are 2.5 ohm and I am running my device at 4.2V. I never had these problems with my DCT. The main reason he wanted me to switch was because I was too scared to prime it myself and these are simpler. But if this keeps happening I might just switch back. I know that there could be a chance that they were just faulty attys but 3 in a row? I was wondering any one has had this problem or has any advice on what to do to help the issue. My husband was having this issue and what he did was remove one of the 2 wicks that are inside the atty and it seemed to work, should I do that for my device as well? Any advice?

Try taking 1 of the flavor wicks out, that should allow more juice to flow to the coil, if it helps some but not all take out the other but it may cause it to leak some if you take out both, or take off the little rubber thingies on top of the coil that is around the little pipe thingie , but it may cause leaking as well

Something as simple as removing a small piece of 1 of the flavor wicks may solve this issue. I have only ever done this on one tank and the difference was amazing.
Coils are all hand built and there are inconsistencies. some have no effect ans others can cause dry hits or flooding. a little tweaking is not a lot of work for a fantastic vape.

If you're having wicking issues, try lowering the voltage. It's probably the juice, not the top.

That's what my local B&M said to try and I take it all the way down to 1.2 and still get a burnt taste after 4-5 hits. Thank you though for the advice though. Also to everyone else saying to try removing a flavor wick I will try that if it continues. My husband messed with it last night and it seems to be working just fine, but lets keep our fingers crossed.
