I have a Kanger PT Mini II as I noted in the title. So far I have cracked three brand new tubes when trying to install them on the base part where the coil is. The metal base where the tube is supposed to fit on feels slightly wide. I cannot get the tube to slide over it at all. This tank has had a tube that came with it, and that fit fine. Same goes for the last two tubes I had for it, both ash colored. I have no idea what is wrong. I want to use my tank but I cannot at this point. Please help!

The glass tube fits INSIDE the tank base (the piece that has the Kanger logo etched on it). It is secured by the threading on the center post to make the tank.

The coil/atomizer threads into a different part that sits below the assembled tank. The coil base and the tank base are not the same piece.

In the base, there is a metal center ehere the coil chimney comes out, the place where the center tube screws in. Normally, the glass tank should fit nicely in between the outside and the middle part. THe middle part seems suddenly too thick and when I try to fit the tank over it, the tank feels too small and it cracks. This has happened with four tanks so far. I had the original clear tank that came with the Kanger, then I bought two ash grey tanks to replace it when it broke. They all fit fine. Now the last clear tank tubes have all not fit and cracked. I don't know what happened. I guess I will try colored pyrex tanks to see if they fit at this point. I remember reading that the clear pyrex is slightly thicker, thats why I ordered the clear. I hat going through so many tanks. It totally kills the whole money saving thing rebuilding the atomizer heads.
