Kanger Aero Tank Base and Protank II

I think Discount Vapers posted a note stating that Kanger uses several factories making Protanks and that is why there may be subtle differences between them, but it shouldn't effect replacement heads. I was looking at the Davide Glassomizer BCC to BDC adapter which some are saying fit fine in some Protanks.

Meanwhile I've been looking for the aerotank base and it seems to be OOS everywhere. I've thought about just getting the Aerotank instead.

I've got a Puritank and Hypertank with leaking issues from the base that I'm hoping a new base might solve. Either way, I'm sure any of the bases I get will be used.

I just picked up an aerotank. It's garbage with the dual coils in it. Leaks and gurgles like crazy. Just found out the protank mini single coil fits right in. Didn't even have to change the base. Problems solved.

Kanger is just weird. From the T3 -> Evod -> Protanks, but they remain the best "system" on the market. Why would Aerotanks be different? I'm not enthusiastic about dual coils, certainly don't need to be using up more eliquid, and not crazy about collecting different coils, however I do like the Aerotanks style.

That's why I got one I love how they look. And with no modifications I got it to stop leaking and gurgling. I only use an ego twist anyway so the battery doesn't have enough juice to power both coils anyway.

Wow, I am surprised and sorry to hear that. I got one about 10 days ago and love it. I have not experienced any leakage or gurgling at all! I am thinking about picking up a couple more for different juices....

I'm surprised too. I have one and a Protank 2 with the air control base. Both are good but the Aero its definitely the better of the two. Looks nicer too if you ask me.

I dropped my device last night and my AFC fell apart. I'm wondering if I can like superglue it back together, until I get a new one online? I see that it's press-fitted

You know what, taping it back together would probably be better, if it will hold until I can get some new ones online. I have to hold my tank down against the bottom piece, for it to fire.

Temporary fix with some masking tape. I left the spring out when I taped it back together, so that there wasn't any pressure pushing the 2 pieces apart. Had to poke holes through the tape where they were covering the air-holes. Seems to work good for now, until I can get some new AFC's online!

I have about 8 of these bases and one came apart on me. I put in two drops of superglue and it has stayed together just fine.
