Kanger single coil, only lasting 1 day?

Hi, I am using a kanger protank 2 on an eleaf 30w mod. I am using a kanger 2.5 ohm single coil. I am vaping at 6 watts/ 3.9v. The juice I'm using is 50%vg / 50%pg. I refill the 2.5 ml tank about 3 times a day. The coil only seems to last 1 day and then there is no flavor or it tastes burnt. Shouldn't these coils last longer than 1 day?

That's about 7.5 to 10 ml juice for 1 coil.

I find that darker juices gunk up coils faster. I have one flavor in rotation that I swap out the coil about every 7.5ml. I have some that I swap out and wash every month. Then put them in the used box to use for gunky juices. Using 1.8 coils. They are cheap enough to be disposable but you can clean them and rewick them if you like. I save all my used ones to be rebuilt someday.

Are they just good to rewick with regular cotton? That's what I'm thinking about doing.

I gave up on the Kanger Tanks because of the unreliable Heads. It was always hit or miss. I went over to Aspire Nautilus Tanks full size and the Mini; their Heads last me at least two weeks if not more and cost is the same.

I have an eleaf 50w with an arctic tank and I would fill that tank up about 5 times a day and the coil would last about 4 days. I just started using this vape because someone gave it to me and I figured I'd save money by just using higher nic juices, but not really sure now.

The protank 2 is notorious for burnt hits. A solution that worked for me was to take the rubber sleeve thing above the wicks off and flip it so the cup faces up instead of over the wick. Of course, re wicking with organic cotton or rayon works too.

Make sure that the cotton is organic / pesticide free though. Normal cotton tastes hella nasty unless you boil and dry it.
