Kanger sub ohm mini shorting out

I may be on my own here. I use a Sub ohm mini with the rba coil but I coil it at 2.5 ohm. I think it is brilliant. Bet Vape in 2 years. If I tighten the tank on the mod too tight I get a shorted message. If I loosen it it works fine. There is about an eighth of a turn between short, ok an open circuit. Anyone else had a similar problem?

It's a Kanger Sub tank Mini....... I'm getting old!

You should only tighten your tank so that it makes contact with the positive pin of the device. As soon as it touches, stop tightening.

Can you tell us what device you are using with the Kanger Sub-tank?

Should be irrelevant but it happens on istick mini and 10w

Of course it may be very relevant as it may be the mod shorting out....... I might go and put a post in the mod section.
