I pretty new to all this rba stuff. I think my 12% liquid is a little strong at 1.2 ohm. I was wondering if I can use the rba part on this tank to get some where in the 1.6 to 1.8 range. I'm using a mvp2 if that helps.

Other users here are rolling their own coils for the rba section: single coils, of ohm values they choose. I personally have no idea if a 1.6-8 is going to fit in there. Someone else may answer. However, 12mg is too much for that tank... how much is matter of personal taste. I'm at 3. Good luck.

Yeah, you 100% can. You can build it to whatever ohm you'd like, though with an MVP2 I'd suggest a single coil around 1.8-2ohm, and your eliquid should feel more in line with what you're used to. You're going to have to put in a little work learning the ropes of how to do this -- but don't get discouraged, it really isn't difficult though can take forever to truly perfect.

Btw, running at 1.2 ohms on the MVP is going to shorten it's useful life.

Good news, I went down to mountain oak vapors and they helped a lot. Apparently on the rba there was some trash in the nipple that sticks out of the bottom and my coils wouldn't work. Got it cleaned out and everything is working great. Bought some high vg rainbow sorbet and going to town on it. Currently running a single coil at 1.9 ohm.

Awesome mate, glad you're sorted -- thanks for reporting back. Some of the initial reports of the subtank said they could use a good cleaning, but it'd be interesting to know what that debris/trash looked like in case it comes up here again.

not real sure, the store cleaned it. He said to take out the screws for the leads and undo the bottom nipple with a nail or something and clean all that. He said it was probly stuff from the machining process.
