I've been using my Kanger Sub Mini for about a month, and purchased a Kanger Sub nano about three weeks ago. I've been using the .5 ohm coil the entire time, except once!
The one time I tried the 1.2 ohm coil, I found that it just didn't provide nearly the same amount of flavor the sub ohm coil provided.
However... I previously was using a Vapor Shark DNA as my main mod. It had a 1600 mah (I believe) battery in it. If I used a 1.2, 1.5 ohm coil, the VS would last me all friggin day! Once I moved over to the .5 ohm coil on the Kanger Sub
tank, the Vapor Shark's battery dropped to about 3, 3.5 hours!
I have since purchased the IStick 50w, so battery life is no longer a problem, and I'll continue to vape with the .5 ohm coil. However, if I had a device with poor battery life and was going out of the house and wouldn't return for the full day, I'd use the 1.2 ohm coil.
There's a reason people LOVE sub ohming, and it's not just to blow big billows of clouds!
(I believe all of the Kanger Sub
tanks come with both
coils, easy enough to try them both! Your mileage may vary....)
