It seems to have stopped leaking, i think it's because i put to much juice in the coil when i tried to prime it again. It's not leaking now

A few drops in the coil, wait 20 minutes, start at low watts ( with a brand new coil, after its broken in you can vape at your desired watts), cover the airflow holes and give it a few drags ( you should see bubbles),and you should be good.

Just to add to this, that desired means where you get best flavor and vapor production, not high watts because you want to. You will not be able to hit 45 watts like you were, on the stock .5ohm coil. possible with the RBA section depending on what type of coil you have. 45 watts on a single strand of 28g or 26g wire is allot of power. I twist 3 or 4 strands of 28g together and I can hit 45 watts. But on a single strand of wire, it'll get way too hot.

My 28 gauge twisted x2 at .7 ohms likes it below 30 watts, 20-25 watts is best with 70% VG.

I'm not impressed with my subtank mini at all. Very disappointed in fact. I love my Herakles, that's my front runner my aspire triton is 2nd. Not liking the subtank at all and I'm really trying to like.. But it's not happening.

I've never been overly happy with Kanger stock coils. The only time I've bought any 5 packs is when MyFreedomSmokes runs a 40% off sale on coils. I've got 8 or so empty shells that I could rebuild, but I just don't bother.

Now, I own 2 25mm Subtanks and 1 Mini v2 and use them constantly with the rba deck with good results. The coils are easy to mount. Even Ni200 coils are a breeze.

I finally found my problem!! I was screwing the coil in too tight ad it was restricting air. I backed it off slightly and I'm able to pull freely on it now.

Coil height and wicking can also significantly change airflow. Coil set lower is more restrictive, higher has a more open draw. I tend to run mine centered on the posts for height.

If all else fails there's always the classifieds or trash can if it makes you feel better there's even the good old hammer.

I came very close to the hammer method tonight. But I'm glad i found what was wrong. I really liked this tank when i was researching it. I'll guess I'll keep out around a while.

The variable ohms deal seems to be a problem with my coils too. I have been vaping on a Subtank mini v1 since close to when they were released. And I've had my ups and downs with it too just like you described. But once you start getting into building your own coils, that's when the real potential of your STM will be found! I've never went above 30watts on any stock coil :S

I've found that these tanks love twisted wire and parallel coils. I have even seen dual coils done in them with some engineering lol. But my most recent and probably favorite yet is a chimney build with twisted 26 g. And I have much better luck with macro coils. No less than about 2.5mm inside diameter. I haven't built on the v2 RBA like yours yet, but I have two on their way from China now. They'll probably be here by Chinese New Year lol.

These tanks are fairly solid though. Mine has been through some abuse! I hope you can get the experience that I've had with mine.
I had a parallel coil in that I left in for six months constant once. Re-wicked it when I felt like it needed it. Then regretted it when I took it out cause I have yet to build another parallel that nice lol.
