I use the SubTank Mini with rta and only do Mouth to Lung Hits.I'm curious to see if there are any other people out there that do the same.If you do please include in your post the inner dia. of coil, how many wraps,it's resistance, the watts your using and which adjustable air setting you've set the tank at.

For me I use a nine wrap 2.3 ohm,2.23mm.inner diameter #30 round kanthal coil. The air setting is at second largest setting @ 5.6 watts.

The reason for this thread is to see what other MTL hitters on this tank are doing...

Thanks

Glad you started this thread. I've not tried the RTA yet, my experience, with the original factory coils with AFC choked down as much as I could, was such that I thought I had purchased 3 pieces of crap as far as the Minis ever of being use to me. I am an MTL-er, not having any need to chase clouds.

So, how is the flavor and th? Is it still too airey?

I'll kick back and see what developes.

Thanks to Rixta too, both of you.

I've yet to figger out how to do multi quotes.

I just quote multiples the same way that I quote singles. You can then enter any of your replays directly beneath each of the quoted replies. There may be an easier way, but this works for me.

For the OP, there is now the subtank V2, which has a changed air flow setup. This makes a big difference for mouth to lung users so you really have to say which one you are using.

With the V2 I am doing an #28, 8 wrap micro coil, 2.5 mm, which comes in at about 1.5 ohm, and pushing it at 12 watts. I normally use the smallest air hole.

5 to 6 watts seems really low to me, there is also the Vertical 1.5ohm coil if your not into rebuilding, fantastic for mouth to lung.

Ah,Yep I suppose that is really low for a subtank but it seems to be working fine for me
