Hello,
I've been off the cancer sticks for one year now Woo Hoo!
I just got me a Subtank mini figuring it'd be a little bigger for making coils with the rda part than the evods and PT minis I've been using up until now and it is.

I like a cool vape @ around 5.6 watts into a 2 or so ohm coil which worked out fantastic with the evods and PT minis.I made my first coil for the subtank @2.2 ohms, 9 wraps 30 gauge kanthal with an inner diameter of 2.4mm and find the draw too airy even at the smallest air setting. My question is if I were to increase the inner diameter of the coil would that help tighten up the draw abit.I'm not into the high watts thing,I just want to stay off the siggies.Oh I am using an ipv mini too.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Thanks

Thanks All...
I've slapped on the smallest holed drip tip I have and set the air flow controller to only a partial hole and it's better but still a tad airy.
I may have set the coil a tad high.above the air hole. When I have abit of time I'll make another coil, maybe 3mm inner diameter and set it down a wee bit lower.

Thanks Again!

I thought I'd update...
Well,I spun a 2.9mm coil 7 wraps of 30g. Kanthal set it a little lower between the posts,it came out to 2.1 ohms,it works great,I've even got the air flow dial set to the second from the lowest setting and the draw is pretty much just the way I like it.

Just Curious.

Have you ever tried Nichrome 80 to make your coils?
