Kanger SubTank Mini Weirdness

DISCLAIMER: Please don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I love the KSTM, I just thought this was kinda weird.

OK, so the SubTank Mini, ... it has both a glass tank with metal inside the glass, unlike the Atlantis which is all glass.

Why is the metal on the inside? Wouldn't it be more break resistant if the metal protected the glass?

Why is there fluid in between the metal in the glass on 2 of the 4 metal struts, but on the other 2 there is a huge bubble where there is no fluid between the metal and glass?


Does your KSTM have fluid, bubbles, or both?

Obviously, I am the only person who owns the Kanger SubTank Mini, BWHA-HA-HA-HA-HA - I am so much more awesome than you - BWHA-HA-HA-HA!

I would think metal on the outside would protect it a little more but internal metal may give more overall strength, also internal glass would reduce the juice capacity a small amount. Looking at my mini i seam to have a thin layer of fluid between all 4 struts now but i did notice a few days ago at least one of them had a couple of dry patches. I guess it takes a little while to seep in between the glass and metal and i would guess thicker (higher vg liquids) would take longer.

Try twisting your glass without removing the tank - there juice behind all 4 posts.

Well it sure looks like mine is just glass then metal posts no juice visible between them. If no leaking then no big deal if there was.

I don't know why YOU would have a problem with the Steelers. Both organizations are respected blue collar hard working stanchions of the NFL. If anyone should have issues between the two of us regarding teams, it should be me, after all, you guys owe us a Super Bowl win.

Def sounds like a fitment issue TCM. Shame as this is one of the tightest builds comin' out of Kanger I've seen (and I haven't run into any clones yet). But wouldn't blame ya if ya kissed it off tho. Been part of a personally funded research project. I've vaped a lot of gear in test and own 60+mods, most auth, and this is rivaling some of my best in performance. Certainly outstanding for a tank. All good outta the box for me 'cept the first like I said.

There's a thread opened on this tank for a bit now with a good tech convo on its merits and you may find someone there with some insights on the problem your'e seeing...KangerTech SUBTANK Mini.

If you hang in medium>advanced rebuilding on tensioned microcoils and Kanger's specifically on...

I put it sideways and took a pic from underneath.
Its a darkish liquid thats been in there a while , I can see the coil looks dark through the glass and liquid but the metal strips look bright and no hint that the darker juice is in front of them.

well, ... it's not like it's leaking or anything, it just looks weird.

I have a very dark juice in mine as well, and to be honest, I wouldn't have even noticed if it hadn't been for the bubbles.
