Recently I purchased a Kanger Subtank, and I loved it, and used it on my Defender 30W. Recently i've noticed that the ohms have be changing frequently back to back on my tank. It is suppose to read 0.5-0.6 but it will read 4.4, 3.2, 1.1, 0.9. Back to back and not stay at a constant Ohm. I have changed the coils, cleaned the tank, but I can not figure out what the exact problem is.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what can I do?

Also, I have tested it on a ohm reader, not just my pen. So the problem is within the tank not the pen.

Are you using rba I take it or occ rba I have experienced the same problems a couple of times I had to get a ohm tester a friend loaned me one ok the center pin can become loose that will do it the rba bace can be fun to get to seat right but the first thing you have to do is find out wether its the tank or the mod I had a 510 with a bad ground the gave me fits on my smok prox 65m with my kanger sub useing the rba one quick thing you can do if you are using Rba try occ head or other way around good luck

Welcome aboard
Pull out your DMM. Check resistance of the power path from the center pin to the coil head. Check the resistance of the 510 connector threading to the coil head ground terminals. The path showing a resistance greater than 0 ohms is your suspect. Note All mechanical connections are a prime suspect.

I am fairly new to this. Exactly what is the DMM and all? I've attempted to clean my 510 connectors it works sometimes, but still goes back to the same problem.
