Ok .. so there a was a big thread a bit ago; waiting for our favourite Canadian suppliers to get them in stock after all the good reviews. Now that virtually everyone has I'm wondering what people's opinions are. This may fit better in another section, but I'm kind of curious about what versions made it to Canada, etc.
If you have no idea what this is, it's another clearomizer/tank like the stardust or vivi.

I got this from urbanvapour the other day and I was in love. Personally I like the Vivi *a lot* more than the stardust v3, I've tried cutting the stardust wicks down to 1/2-1/3 their length and unraveling them - I personally think past 1/4-1/2 doesn't do anything for wicking and just gets in the way. Despite trying and trying the stardust, I still find the vapour production and taste a lot lower than the Vivi. The only downsides to the Vivi were; filing the center post, the lack of ego skirt which can be solved with a $2-3 sleeve, the very subby wicks increases the need for tipping, avoiding the air hole while filling and the gurgling or leaking liquid out of the mouth piece - I've had this problem with the stardust too.
So for the T2; medium wicks seems perfect to me to hold a bit more liquid, but stay past the point of uselessness. It's ego threaded, which is a problem with some devices and needs an adapter, but on an ego is much more secure. And from my limited experience the draw was loose and the throat hit, vapour and taste were as good or better than the Vivi to me. There's also no bottom threads on the tank, so maybe cleaning is a bit harder, but to me it adds more support and I'm always a bit afraid of grabbing the tube to unscrew and having a catastrophic leak.
The coil head is also above the tank, so I don't have to carefully fill it trying to avoid getting liquid in the air hole - which I always manage to do on the stardust and Vivi.
The downside; there's been a problem with the tips breaking, which has since been fixed and most suppliers have the newer tips now - urbanvapour sent me 2 tips. There's also a head with shorter wicks and a silicone head, that apparently has lower performance floating around there. The worst part though is that .. I was fiddling and noticed my tip was threading a bit off center, so being me .. I just pushed it back into place and wiggled it a lot and the metal top came off ! I'll chalk that up to 10% build quality and 90% user error, but I have read this has broken for other people. I've seen superglued it back together, but it's not straight and affecting the draw.
I'm curious what other people's opinions are on this, personally the build quality seems a bit low (after I broke one), but at a lower price point and version 1, I'm still sold and I'm going to pick up a couple more to continue the testing. By version 3, this should be perfect.
I'm also curious if anyone has tried modifying the well from the worst performing head - I've read they are interchangeable and can be cut to keep even more liquid up by the wicks. Vaporchase talks about swapping them here; VaporChase Review - Kanger T2 Coil-5 from Urban Vapor - YouTube
