The T2 Clearomizersare great. For one, the head can be replaced without emptying the tank.

I prefer wicks otherthan the ones provided. I don’t mind cutting my own wicks and wrappingcoils. With the T2 heads, wick replacement is difficult andtedious. As well, the lower, soft rubber gasket is very easily damaged.

Do someone know of any heads other than the regular replacement ones that are thread and otherwise T2 compatible?

Hi Cool Breeze, almost sounds like a knock-off with different wicks?
Well, all we have to do is find who is selling it, its new by Vision. Vision VT Ego clearomizer, a copy of the T2.

The Vision VT Ego clearomizer uses the reference 'changeable coils,' but I think they mean the head. The head looks very similar to the Kanger T2 heads. I'm trying to avoid silica wicks. Thanks for the info.

I stopped using my T2 because of the said rubber gromet broke after a few recoilings, and I couldn't find a proper DIY replacement for the gromet. I recently ordered a spare head, and so far I get burnt taste even at 3.3V. It's just not wicking.

Back to T3s and Vivi Nova Minis for me. But every week I hope that something new will pop up that would change the game... again.

As far as the threads go, I think they are all standard 510 size and pitch. They vary in length though and are usually not exchangeable. I guess in theory it might be possible to find one too long and file it down but that seems like more trouble than it would be worth to me. Coil Head - 2 Long Thick Wicks 1.5ohms (Dual Coil)

Have you tried the smok redux? I'm recoiling those with cheese cloth and liking them pretty good. It is a bit tedious, but not bad once you've done it a couple of times. I haven't been using them long enough to comment on the lower gasket yet. It is small but seems to be sturdy enough. I'll have to wait and see on that one.

In case you haven't seen it, here's one of the better videos on recoiling the stardust - redux types because of it's clear focus. Pbusardo has a good one as well.

Hi mrelwood,
Back in Sept. when i put my first replacement head on the T2 i had a bad expierence. But as skelley told me, these need cleaned first. I have had good luck since then, after cleaning the 3 heads i am still using.

I did dry burn it, but didn't wash with water. I've been letting the head sit in the T2 filled with juice for a few days, and it has got slightly better. Still not anywhere near being adequate. It just doesn't wick properly. I might've been spoiled with recoiling my own Vivi Novas and T3's though, so this might be the original behavior I had with it when I was a "younger vaper".

If it doesn't wake up by next week I'll widen the slots and recoil this one too.
