Well that's a bummer, the T2 is my favorite and I've not had a dud yet, let's see...
Have you tried it on a standard eGo battery to see if it's making a connection?
The adaptors you're using, are you using an eGo adaptor? (required to work on the T2). If so, maybe your T2 bottom post is just not making contact?
That's really all I can think of, maybe pull the post up on the eGo adaptor, I know I've got a few of those adaptors that just don't reach all the way.
I hope you get it working, they are great.

I dont have a ego battery, just mods that all work with everything else. The adapters are the ego to 510 ones and they also all work with vision and the e-1's. Will try prying the post on the adapters more and see, thats what it seems to be the problem, not getting a connection. Thanks.
