Well after 2 weeks of being really happy with these I have totally changed my mind. Piece of junk. Every problem known to man in the last 2 days. Cracking tips, tips coming away from the threads, leaking and the final straw now is not firing at all. Tried 2 new heads, tried pulling the post on my batteries. Nada!!!!! I give up. It's in the trash. Vivi nova from now on. So unreliable and such a shame because I really liked them too.

I think clearos (and all e-cig garb for that matter) is hit or miss. It has more to do with getting lucky than brand choice. I can find a hundred pro Kanger reviews and a hundred anti-Kanger reviews and the same for Vivi and Phoenix and Boge and every other one. We need a quantum leap discovery in the way vapor is produced and mixed with flavor. Something totally out of the box and not just moving coils from the top to the bottom or long wicks vs short wicks. If we can develop a bomb that can take a chunk out of the side of a planet, we ought to be able to come up with a consistent way of producing flavored vapor. In time.

Well I'm still working off of my Four out of Five working T2s that came in the Five Pack I bought about a month ago.

I'm pretty vigilant about keeping everything in working order.

I always clean my Coils after One TOP-OFF - so I fill`er up with about 1.9mls then when it gets low I top it off. Then I take the Heads and put them in Isopropyl Alcohol for a few hours. This does the trick in getting the juice out of the wicks. After that is into water to clean out all the IPA and then on to Dry-Burning. At the moment I have only one 'TIRED' Head that takes about twice as long to fire and heat-up compared to the other four Heads. Waiting on getting some wire and cotton wicks before trying to fix it.

But for the most part my T2s are my Go-To devices. I even use one of them for Dripping at it works just as good as the 510 Atty I removed the Bridge from. You do have to remove a few things from the Head in order to drip with these. But the process is straight forward.

Now you mention Leaking... Were you actually removing the Tube from the Base to clean? For me that is one thing I avoid because messing around with those two pieces time and again can lead to a leaking issue due to wear and tear. So if at all possible just leave the tube on the base when cleaning.

I don't know how you treat your equipment but a lot of what is going on can be contributed to keep things in good working order and the maintenance that follows.

I need to buy some new CC/Heads some SR and LR jobs. My father doesn't like the LRs because they are too hot for him. But then again at 1.8ohms on our eGos we're looking at about 6.05 ohms. Personally I want to try to get the watts down to between 4.5 and 5.25 for pops.

I've had inconsistent results with my T2s. Performance has generally been fine on the seven or so I've used---good flavor, throat hit, and vapor production.

My problem has been leakage. The seal between the transparent plastic tube and the metal bottom connector base (with the inner threads) on about half of my T2s "seeps" or "sweats" eliquid. It's not a large amount, but after not vaping one for half a day or so, I'll pick up the eGo Twist it's mounted on and find that the outside of the tube is wet to the touch and/or has visible signs of juice accumulation around the metal base and sometimes even down around the switch of the Twist. Having to wipe off the tube with a kleenex is a ritual I don't like and shouldn't have to do.

I haven't abused the T2s in any way, and the juices I use are all standard blends---70/30, 50/50, etc. I also haven't tried separating the tube from the base of any of the T2s, but I can't imagine that doing so would help make a better seal.

I like the capacity, appearance, ease of filling/topping up, and ability to replace the coil/wicks, but leaking is a total fail and downright inexcusable from the standpoint of Kanger's quality control (or lack thereof).

I suppose I could try filling my T2s only halfway or two-thirds full to see if the leaking stops, but then I'd have to tilt them often to keep the wicks wet, and that doesn't please me. Solve one problem, create another. So, it's starting to look like many of my T2s will go the way of the first-generation CE2 clearomizers from 2011---into the trash eventually.

Well supposedly the version twos are out now and they are suppose to be better at not having the tips separating from the metal threads.

The five pack I bought the vendor sent five additional tips at no cost because of the issue above. I didn't know why until the first tip got screwed up.

The yellow T2 that came was leaking from the get go. I removed the tube from the base and tried my darnest to make it work. I used some vegetable oil to check for leaking, of course it didn't work.

On a few of the tubes I have vertical cracking near where the tip is. So I take it easy when tightening the tips on. On another T2 I had the tip with the metal threaded piece that attaches to the plastic tube come just slightly off when it fell off the top of my TV; about 50 inches high or so. It wasn't that big of a separation and no juice leaked out so I just pushed it back and haven't had any problems since.

I haven't seen a five pack of the T2s since I bought mine for $20.50. If anyone knows where I can get a five pack for less than $25 let me know.

I bought some CE3s and have been completely under-whelmed with them. Practically 0 TH!

I've used these T2's for about 1 week. No issues leaking or tips breaking, but I don't know what version they are.
I do notice that flavor is dropping off. I inspected the unit and the coil is in good shape.
I removed the 'flavor wick' and added one of my own. I made it long so it would reach the bottom of the tank, still not much improvement.
The flavor wick (that's what I call it) is that 1 loose strand of wick that lays loosely on top of the coil.

I still think all this china stuff is junk, some is just better junk.
You should have tried the v1 & v2 CE4+ (aka Stardust), now there was total junk.
The wife & I had the outer shells explode from fruit & cinnamon juices. The wicks acted more like filters as they wicked certain parts of the juice faster leaving the heavier particulates that tasted like crap and had to be poured out.

I just don't think I'm a top coil fan in general and I've used several different styles and revisions.
I would like to see more bottom coil types myself and so would the wife.
I can trim and rock a CE3 very easily and get great results. They are the best atty for dripping also if you remove the center post.
Lately my rebuildable phoenix atty seems to hit the spot. Just a learning curve on coil building to overcome and life is good.
If my rebuildable doesn't perform, there is only one person to blame. :)

i had the same problem bill. the only remedy i found was to wiggle the tube off, drop some superglue around the base and push the tube back on. almost 2 weeks ago and no leaks since. i agree i should not have to do this but its an easy fix.

I should have said something before I spoke last night!

After typing up that last response on my Smart Phone I went to my office where I keep all my eCig stuff. I had a T2 connected to my eGo with about 2mls worth of Watermelon eJuice. This was the T2 that has the little cracks at the top near the tip. Well it leaked out the cracks about 1mls worth of Juice. So that makes it TWO T2s that are down now.

One that came DOA because of leakage and the other just plain wear and tear. The Head still works so now I have four working heads and three Tubes+Base! I use one of my T2s exclusively for Dripping just to slow down my consumption. If I drip it takes a lot longer to go through my juice - so that is a way I conserve what I have.

I think I will post a how to on making your T2s drippable!

Hi Salt&PePPer, i just got my Kanger T2 that iv'e been wanting to try. I got it at vapingme for 4.99 and the heads are .99. They have free shipping over 25 dollars. This is my first Kanger, and there is nothing on the box that says Kanger....so don't know if it's a knock-off.

My Kanger from vapingme is going on a month old now and with only a couple of warm water rinses and immediate refills it just keeps on going. Great clearo for 5 bucks.

Currently using a Vivi Nova mini as my daily and my wife uses the Kanger when she drinks. Both are quality clearos but the Vivi Nova is by far I higher quality clearo imo.

Oh yah, I will be getting my next set of heads from them, probably three of the 1.8ohm and three of the 2.2ohm or 2.4ohm.

The Kangers don't come with a name of the box. The Box of Five I bought came like that.

I just want to know where I can buy another Five Pack since the original five that I bought came in a pack of five. I've done google searches and nothing ever pops up except for the Packs of Five replacement heads - in blister packaging!
