Kanger T2

I've been using two different T2's for several months now. Very happy with the unit but .....
This seems to happen to both units at most any time.
I fill the tank, making sure the atomizer is nice and tight. Put the mouth piece
back on and begin using. Before the tank is empty I start getting juice in the air tube.

The atomizer is coming lose, 1/4 to 1/2 turn allowing juice to leak in. Now as far as I can
see there are no rotational forces on the atomizer while it's in use and I don't remove the
mouth piece until it needs refilling so rotation of the mouth piece is not causing the
atomizer to rotate.

Taking the mouth piece out, tightening the atomizer and replacing the mouth piece
of course cures the problem but I can not see the reason for this to happen.

Anyone else out there have a problem like this with the Kanger?

It is easy on some T2's to unscrew the coil unit when you refill but you seem to know that :) This 'leaking when the tank is nearly empty' is common for the eGo-t & c system, vision stardusts, other CE products and the T2. I think it's either a hydraulic or pneumatic pressure thing when the volume of the air (pneumatic) in the tank becomes greater than the liquid or the liquid (hydraulic) doesn't have the volume to hold the seals. Either way, the Kanger T-3/tabac BCC's handle this 'low tank' phenomena better than any I've tried. In fact, I think that the ejuice that you'll get through the mouthpiece when refilling the tank shows this to be the case. There seems to be a 'release' when the seal is broken on the T3 in refilling and that leaking doesn't occur when the T3 tank is low, as in the T2.

That said, IF the three seals in the T3 are out of place or in one instance with me early on, I let the 'thread' seal drop down and chewed one up, then that 'closed system' is compromised and you will get leaks - also if you don't fully tighten the tank onto the knurled piece that connects to the batt, you'll get leaks. I eyeball those three silicone rings on the T3 each time I refill and haven't had a problem since the one I chewed up in the threading.

I don't think the others have as good of a seal/closed system although the T2 was superior to the eGo-t's and c's and the CE's imo - so when the tanks get low - usually really low - then leaks can and will occur. The T2 seals were a bit different also. There is still the 'thread' seal which you should keep 'above' the threads of course but the 'inner seal' can easily get out of place - take a good look at a new one to find that inner seal so you know where it goes.
