Phil Busardo reported some nasty taste issues with T3s. It seems there's a bit of a consistency problem at the moment, and he's withdrawn his recommendation for now. I don't use them, so take that for what it's worth.

I have yet to see anyone else make this claim. I have personally had some flooding issues, but have never had bad flavor from these. I use the exact same one that he claims gave him "bad taste". I have cleaned it multiple times and replaced the head, and never once did I have problems with the taste.

I don't know if this will work for you but it helped me a lot. There's a yt link floating around in one of the T3 threads under the clearo subforum that shows how to remove one of the 4 wicks. I did this and it seemed to help a little. Then I realized that I was pulling too hard. This thing seems to hit a lot better with just a really gentle pull. For me, if I can hear the air being sucked in to the clearo, I'm pulling too hard.

When you removed the extra wick, did you have flooding problems??

you'd have to buy large quantities ,[co-op] otherwise i know that discount vapors carries the genuine kanger's
Thanks - appreciate it. Hopefully, in a few more posts my count will be to the point where I can get validated.
I must say though, I bought 2 Kanger T3s from gotvapes last week and loaded one last night. No boiling, washing or other fiddling. After getting used to the airier draw, I have to say it's performing beautifully. No leakage, plenty of vapor, solid flavor, no dry hits, no gurgling or other such distractions. Just a great, simple vape. Much better than the Stardusts (occasional dry hits and off flavors) and factors better than the horrendous iClear 16 (only used one of those - but take everything bad you hear about the T3 and that's what the iClear was like).

btw,,the only mod i do to mine is to cut that airtube down almost flush with the top silicone ring on the head section,as you vape it will condensate on the inside of the tube and run down between the top air tube and the head airtube and eventually fill up full and start gurgling

i vape 8-\20 mix,,mine will start to gurgle when the tank gets close to being empty,so just refill and problem solved

Thanks for the tips - will remember those!
FWIW, I am vaping as a smoker. So I'm not vaping all around the house or anything like that. I'll take a 'break' every 1-2 hours and have a 5 minute vape and that's it. Hopefully, I won't even see any major condensation issues given my behavior, but if I do, I know what to do now :thumb:

I have not had any problems with flooding yet. I did however get an atomizer and some more juice to sample today. I think it may have been my juice to blame for the harsh hits as it is a bit thick and 24mg nic. When I tried a 50/50 10mg Kentucky Watermelon sample from Vermillion River it was a lot less harsh, even without removing a wick. By the way, that stuff tastes amazing dripping. :)

I usually run a 2.5 t3 between 3.7 to 4.2 mostly around 4.0 depending on what device and juice im using start there.
Now there are a couple other things that could be a problem like its not wicking well you can blow gently into it till you see little bubbles come up from the bottom. Also when you first get them they have primer in them and until it burns off it wont vape so good.
I usually wash them before I use them.

Thanks for the washing suggestion. Washed it out and not so much irritation, big improvement.:)

plug one of three tiny breathing holes on the threaded base. Just stick the pointed end of a toothpick in one and break it off. It'll fix the too airy draw and might be smoother for you

Hey Buck, I will definitely give it a try. Tell my buddy too, he says it is to light/ airy.

I have been trying the same draw method and you are correct, it does help a lot!:)
