I cant figure out what happened. The first time I used my Kanger Unitank it worked fine and had an air draw that was similar to my TE3 by Smokelessimage. I then disassembled it and reassembled it. After that the draw has been so insanely tight when attached to my evic that I can even pull and it just kind of gurgles.

Ive been fiddleing with it for like an hour and cant get the draw back to the way it was when i first got it. Any Ideas? This thing is about to see air time then garbage time if i cant fix it.

Sounds like the coil/head may not be screwed down enough.

Yea I cant figure it out. Ive tryed the head loose and tight. Didnt seem to effect the problem. I went as tight as i could hand tight and just loose enough to hold it. In between didnt seem to fix it either. I just got the thing so I dont really understadn the mechanics.

Loose is never good. Snug is best. Too tight may affect the connection pin. Gurgling means it is flooded. Blow it out from the connection end into a tissue.

Yea I guess thats all that really makes sense. I cant figure out what else would be effecting it. If I try to pull through with nothing attached it has the same draw it had before I took it appart. When I screw it on to anything the draw is insanely tight and almost impossible to pull.

If the draw is fine while not connected and too tight on the mod, the airflow is being cut off. Some people have experienced this with a ProTank 2 on a ProVari. The stock bases/caps seem to be the issue.

Yea. Im trying to figure out why that didnt happen before I took the thing appart. Thats what I cant make sense of.

Seriously. I don't understand why kanger has such a great reputation. This issue I'm having makes no sense. I know talking bad about any product is like insta flame on any forum but really...

Are there any other bottom coil, single coil tanks besides kanger, that have zero air flow issues.

I'm thinking of using my smokless image TE3 tanks on my evic. Too bad they don't make pyrex tanks. The TE3 model is ugly and you can't make it pretty but, it freakin works! Take that Kanger!

I think the short answer is no. Too many devices to attach them to, with different designs. BUT... You can pick up an air flow controller for a fe bucks, leave it on your device at all times, and problem solved! You just adjust that to you preferred draw, and done! Unless your topper is ego thread... They are only 510.

Seriously? You fiddled with it and now want to blame it?

Slow down and think logically. What did you do that was different from the way it was?

I then disassembled it and reassembled it

Why?
To see how it all went together?
To clean it?
To replace the wick?

My vote is you changed the wick and the new one is blocking the air holes in the 510 connection. This has happened on more htan a few Bottom coil tanks.
If the silicone seal to the 510 pin is bulging, it will block air flow. This can happen from over tightening onto the device or if the seal is to thick.
Time to try another wick/coil head.

Problem solved. It turns out the tiny white gromet or ring of tephlon looking stuff, at the bottom of the attomizer head, got squashed. The simple answer here is, only tighten the atomizer until its seated an NO TIGHTER. Found that out the hard way.

If you squash the grommet, either change the head and don't tighten it that much or do the complicated air flow fix lol, which is posted in the forum somewhere.
