OK i just had the same problem, I just got the aerotank last week and I took the base off filled it with juice and screwed the base back on.... It wouldn't work. I didn't hear anything, I hit it and there was nothing... I FINALLY realized that I had tightened the air flow ring all the way closed (to the top) while I was screwing the base back on. I even told the vendor I bought it from that it was a dud :) but I realized I couldn't move the airflow ring, so I got a towel, so it didn't kill my fingers, and put it over the air flow ring and turned and turned some more and eventually it opened up :) I am guessing that this is all that's wrong with your tank, so when you get home experiment with different things until you get it open. If all else fails a pair of pliers will work. Good luck!

I went to the local shop during my lunch break and forgot it at my desk, but I will bring it by after work for them to look at and assist with. Thankfully they said they'll help :) I tried the towel thing, the coin thing, even tried a key sitting on my desk to no avail. Now I know better for when (if?) I do get this open. Thank everyone for all the help :D

I have seen an issue like yours and it was fixed by pulling the contact pin on the atty out a bit ill post some pics of me doing it to explain. 2014-05-15 19-00-57.328.jpg2014-05-15 19-00-35.483.jpg Before and After pics.
Can be done with fingers if not try pliers

... speaking of problems with the Aerotank Mega .... mine leaks slightly from the airflow controller. Why ? I've tigthened down the glass and all possible parts. Any ideas ?

P.S. ... I've applied for the quit-smoking banner , but this forum won't let me put the HTML or BB code in my message, saying I can't put a URL into my message. Can someone help me with this also please? - DJ CC :vapor:

Hey I think I know why I can't put the banner on my messages, to answer the last comment.

I believe it's because it has to be pasted into my 'signature' and, as a new user, I don't have one yet.

Thanks for the comment. Sorry to distract from the thread. Peace.

    Yo !

So happy with my Aeortank Mega 3.8ml.

Finally cured all my problems with it by using SINGLE COIL coils in it.

Not only am I saving on liquid and power, it CURED THE LEAK.

Somehow they're designed , some of them, without proper seating for the dual coils.

I've heard 4 reports of leaking now, and I'm telling everyone to use the single coils in their Aerotanks.

Even better cloud imo , and worth the savings.

    Happy vaping !

Which single coils heads are you using? Did you need to modify them at all?

    Well,

    To answer the last post,

I used no-name short stubby coils from our local shop.

    HOWEVER

After 48 hours, the leak again returned.
So I've gone back to my Protank 3 ,happily. (from kangertech)

Looking at the Aspire Nautilus, looks good.

In studying the older Kanger dual-coil heads, it seems as if a single-coil T3S/MT3S head could be used by replacing the grommet on the chimney with the taller grommet from the dual-coil head. I wonder if that would cure leaking and/or gurgling.
