Kangertech EVOD Charger Question

I am fairly new to vaping, and I ordered a Kanger EVOD starter kit last week, I tried to charge the battery with the charger that came with the starter kit and I think the charger may be defective. Reason being, I put the battery on the charger for over 8 hours and the light was still red. When I plug the charger in, without the battery attached, the light is red. Is this normal?

My EVOD 650 mAh battery charges in about 90 mins so maybe your charger is defective.

That's what I thought. I am thinking my charger is defective. Thanks for your input!

Fortunately, chargers are cheap, if you can't return that one.

I have other chargers from EVODs I have, would it work just the same? In the Kanger instructions it says to only use that specific charger with the Kanger EVOD.
