KangerTech Protank II incompatible with Joyetech eGo Passthrough?

I went to a local smoke shop today in search of a new battery, after both of the Pulsar Stylus batteries I purchased stopped working. I'm currently using the KangerTech Protank II. When I attached the tank to the joyetech eGo Passthrough (Genuine Joyetech eGo PassThrough 1000mah 3.3v - BLACK [gotvapes-joyetech-ego-PT-black] - $23.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more), trying to draw on the Protank was like trying to suck through a straw with the other end pinched off. I also tried one of the eGo Twist batteries and had no such issue. They also had another large battery, similar to the eVic which had the same problem, in which there was absolutely no airflow. Is this a compatibility/threading issue with this particular type of battery? I tried the eVic as well and the airflow seemed rather restricted as well. I should note I've had no such issues with this tank with any other battery I've tried, including the Buck Naked Express that I've been using primarily as of late.

No, there's no compatibility issues that I know of. Before upgrading to my Vision Spinners, I was using both of my Protank 2s on 2 different Ego passthoughs. I had no problems other than they were extremely top-heavy...

I'm stumped then. I tried all three they had on the shelf with the exact same result, absolutely no draw at all. As I said before it was like trying to stuck air through a straw that was completely pinched off.

I'm stumped, too. I kept my passthroughs as backups, and I just tried it again, both with and without the beauty ring. It works fine. I wish I could be more helpful...

I read somewhere that some eGo products have different threading. Anyone else have this problem?
