I remember reading somewhere that the rba section coming with the plus is not swappable with the mini I'm assuming although same design perhaps the plus version is a little bigger due to the increased size of the plus tank.

MVS has pictures up. It has the MINI rba in it. Unless they totally changed the threading, which would be impossible because of the OCCS.

I read somewhere. same single coil rba as mini. airflow may be a slight upgrade to some people but dial is better to turn. otherwise it is similar to the v1. including that it leaks a little. stores around here want 80 bucks for these things. I would certainly take one for $30. the original is a great clearo and I take it the plus has slight improvements in some key areas. these don't leak much but none would be better. otherwise with nickel I like it a lot. it does not seem as nice as a top rba/rda but works nearly the same. if they improved on it that's good. I think I prefer the shape of the v1 rba though. I don't think the mini's airflow is the same thing because I could use 22mm.

From what I've seen, and based on what I know about Kanger, its very likely just a 25mm Mini clone. It appears to use the mini RBA, so it has to be compatible with the OCC's as well, and it just looks like the latest version of the mini in 25mm. Its a shame because I will never use my original subtank but I will buy this 25mm plus since the Mini RBA is my favorite vape right now and I can leave the 25mm big guy at home.

If it helps on a sigelei 50w with the silicon skin the subtank is virtually flush you have to look hard to notice tiny overhang doesn't look that bad at all. As for the rba section it might swap over to the mini I wish I could remember where I read that it wouldn't but read so much vaping stuff on so many sites it all muddles together. In a way as I said given the size difference between the mini and the plus 3mm total it is logical that something on the plus rba section might be bigger despite the uniform appearance time will soon tell.

you would think it would not fit. like how many companies make things incompatible so they do not compete. I read somewhere threads are the same. don't remember where either. I think the upgraded airflow is a trick. it appears different. it is still uncovering 1,2 or 3 holes. just a different way of doing the same thing it seems. that is what I guessed. it is a 25mm mini. but, is the mini better than the 25mm as far as airflow? that and the rba are all that is really different from the v1 25mm device. the rba's are a toss up for me. as said it needs grips. china is about making money. they will release a updated product every month. this appears to be a twist on what they already have. a 25mm mini. I have vaped the 25mm v1 and mini. not a discernable difference for me. the ring being easier to turn is about the only big difference. considering they leak, even a little I will buy it somewhere for $30. some things I do not mind to get ripped off at b&m but not this.

Upgraded airflow would be through the AFC base, which HAS been updated 2-3 times on the mini already. It might just be getting the latest version of the mini's AFC which is technically improved, but in 25mm.

afc air intake can be as big as they want but it wont do diddly if center pin hole(s) remain the same size

There seems to be a bit of confusion here about both the airflow and the RBA. By looking at Kanger's website the PLUS uses the same RBA as the Mini and it will have the same cyclops air flow as the Mini with 7ml capacity. I hope they release it with the same RBA 'improvements' that have appeared on the most recent Mini versions.
Also their website still has it on Pre-order for $49.90. Hope this clears up any confusion.

Given that I have the original Mini RBA I might just get one.

I just got 2 in the mail. Looks identical to the original side by side.

Differences -

no screws on the top
510 pin doesn't stick out (it stands on it's own fine without a stand)
Drip tip is more wide bore and squat. looks nice. I like the old on but this one is more functional
Much better oring on the bottom. It now looks similar to the one on top, it sits in the channel, but sticks up so it really makes contact and seals when you screw it in. sorry no pic.
the airflow is NOT identical to my mini (1 big hole, 2 big holes, wide open cyclops, closed) - as you adjust you will see no fully closed option, 1 tiny hole, to one large hole, to fully open.
A few additions in the box that were not included with the original that are very welcome - replacement glass and a full set of black o rings (red installed). The only other difference being that it is the mini rba deck instead of the full size. the .5 is installed, a 1.2 is in the box, and some coils, cotton, screwdriver, etc.

Sorry for the lack of pics, but I hope this helps anyone waiting on one or curious about it. I can't say I am satisfied or not yet, I have only had it for an hour. taste and clouds seem no different than the original so far, so I am happy camper. Now I have a subtank for all my main juices, happy about that.
