I'm looking for 28 G Kanthal. Found it on eBay for a few bucks but with a high shipping cost. Anyone know where to get this for a reasonable total cost? Anywhere from a few feet up to about 25 would be good.

$10 shipping in Canada for something that fits into an ordinary stamped envelope should pretty much be incl. with the price. JR Turnings doesn't have 28ga, but he would ship it for free.
Oftentimes it seems these guys make their money on the shipping not the product.

jrcustom turning (Kanthal A1 Wire 2m)is the place you want to go. I think he even still offers free shipping on small items like this.

I see you are Canadian. If I order these from an American supplier, I cross the border to pick it up in WA, bring it back to BC, and can stick it in an envelope for you for cheap if you are interested.

I have this. Its comparable to a 30g wire. It's great but I need something more comparable to a 28g wire.
