I know this has been answered before, but does anyone have a US source for this wire besides eBay?
Seems as though the eBay seller has either stopped selling it, or cannot get it anymore. Whatever the reason, it can no longer be found on eBay.

Heck, I'd even be willing to buy it in bulk, and then start supplying it to others. I just don't want to pay huge shipping costs to have it sent from Sweden.

Also, does anyone know what the difference is between the A1, D, and DSD when it comes to the Kanthal wire?

Second time I've answered this question in as many minutes, but it's a total fluke. I don't do any rebuilding, so I wasn't looking for kanthal, just checking out vendors I haven't used before, and I happened to see it at Vapoligy.com. Looks like it's in stock, but don't bet the farm on my word. Very popular stuff. Makes me think I should have some, just cuz.

Hello Firewalker I dont know if this will be any help to you at all...
When I was a Potter (and I'm in Australia) the local Pottery Supplies sold Kanthal Wire ,used in Electric Kiln elements, or perhaps they might know where you could source some the correct thickness,
