If you've tried the Kanthal ribbon wire for coil building, did you end up going back to round Kanthal? I don't see it talked about much in the coil threads I've read so I just wondered if there's a reason.
Does the ribbon make reliable contact for something like a Protank 2 where you have friction-fit connections? Or maybe the ribbon Kanthal is only really usable for the screw-type connections?
