Depends on the device and personal preference on the temp control. I myself have 2 vapor sharks with the DNA 40 chip and love the TP feature. To me, it's a cooler vape, I've built at a minimum 50 nickel coils and can't get a really warm vape from it. Not complaining, just keep my temp so I don't scorch my cotton.

Not sure how the other temp control devices work with kanthal, I'm with how what Evolv has done with their chips!

Nickel is a little more detail oriented because it's softer and the device demands you have exact connections in order to function correctly. I like it just fine and have had very satisfying results on most of my tanks. Only one that gives me fits is my erlkonigin!

well.. do you vape on the higher end of the sig's range often? It's a different type of rig so don't expect to do much cloud chasing with it...
people appear to be fairly happy with the mini invader -- it goes into a deep sleep fairly often and you have to hit the trigger 5+ times to wake it up -- but I haven't heard complaints on the temp control, its built tough, and has 50W instead of just 40 of the dna version. can be had for around $60 -- not a bad deal for a test of the TC world.
